Rhea found herself covered in sweat and was thankful she only grunted instead of shouting when she
woke up.
She sat up and realized her legs were numb. She checked the time and noticed it was nearly midnight.
As there were several more hours to endure, she felt frustrated.
It was ridiculous that everyone there knew they were going to conduct the R10 experiment, yet no one

Rhea got to her feet and approached the door, where a guard stopped her. She frowned and said, "I''d
like to see His Grace. I have something important to tell him."
"You can tell him tomorrow." He did not even want to pass on her message.
After some thought, Rhea said, "It''s about the R10 experiment. If I don''t tell him now, it’ll be toote!"
The man simply stared at her, unyielding.
"If anything goes wrong tomorrow, I''ll tell Fred it''s your fault!" Rhea said sternly.
The man seemed hesitant and finally told Rhea to wait and went away. After a while, he returned and
said something to another guard before looking at Rhea. "Come with me."
Rhea sighed and followed the guard. After taking a few turns, he led her into the office she and Fred
had visited earlier that day. "Wait here for a moment."
The guard then left.
The simple room only had a desk, several chairs, and bookcases. The shelves were nearly empty, but
there was aputer on the desk.
