“It’s just not possible,” Ross interrupted, “I was born and raised there, and I know the pce inside out.
They couldn’t have held a child there without me knowing.”
Mike’s eyes zed over as he fell into deep thought. What the prince said was a huge blow to him.
Mike always thought Nick was in the Yudonian pce. Although he could not see his son, he knew
Nick was in a safe ce and would be able to reunite with him. Yet, Ross told him that Nick was not
even there.
‘Where could Nicky be if not there?’
Ross softened when he saw how lost Mike looked. “Don’t lose hope. Even if your son is not in the
pce, he could still be in another ce. Could he be in Fred’s residence instead? You know, since
he’s behind this."
"Do you think it''s likely?" Mike asked hesitantly.
Ross fell silent because he did not know for sure.
Seeing his expression, Mike knew the prince could not be sure as well. After some thought moment,
Mike got up and returned to his room.
Ross watched him leave and wanted to go after and cheer him up, but on second thought, he decided
it was better to give Mike some space.
Once inside the room, Mike called Rhea. She quickly picked up and asked, “Any updates on the
invisibility potion?”
Caught off guard, Mike said coldly, "No!"
"Then what are you calling me for? If others find out—"
Before Rhea could finishining, Mike interjected, "Where''s my son?"
Rhea was shocked.
"You promised to save him. Where is he?" he asked again.
"You know he''s in Yudonian pce, don''t you? If I can develop the invisibility potion, I''ll be able to save
him. What''s the matter?" Rhea was puzzled by his sudden loss of patience.
‘Had he gone insane?’
"No, he''s not even in the pce! Where the hell is he?!" Mike interrupted her in agitation, his free hand
clenching into a fist on his side.
Rhea was taken aback.
