    Soon, Alexander reached the gate of the Rollins’ residence. He gazed at the closed gate and fell into


    deep thought while sitting in the car and tapping on its door. He looked like he was waiting for


    something.


    A whileter, his phone beeped twice. He took it out, saw a message, and thoughtfully scrolled through


    it.


    Although Mike promised to work with Rhea, he did not let his guard down. He knew how cunning she


    was, and she would not let down her guard as well-after all, they were just using each other.


    However, he was curious about the trump card Rhea had mentioned. He did not believe the “boss” was


    it.


    Therefore, for the past two days, besides keeping up with the updates he received and holding the fort


    at the research facility, he had been stalking Rhea. He needed to know what she was doing.


    Still, he discovered nothing. More urately, he saw how cruel Rhea was. Besides theboratory, she


    had gone to the secret room to torture the boss for the past two days.


    Although Mike did not go in and see what was happening, he had goosebumps just hearing the horrible


    screams inside. Of course, he had no sympathy for the boss and had given him a harsh beating.


    Still, Mike did not torture the man because he thought that would be too heinous.


    Rhea differed, on the other hand. Mike witnessed how she experimented on living human beings,


    which she treated as animals. She would use any living person for her good.


    What was intriguing was that she had secretly gone to her parent’s house twice but did not stay much


    longer each time, leaving after an hour. The research facility was far from the house, so Rhea would


    waste time traveling between the two ces.


    However, she was willing to do so. Mike wondered if that meant she cared about her parents. From


    what he knew, she was not that kind of person.


    Mike felt something was up, but since he could not simply enter her house, he considered telling


    Alexander about it. Despite that, Alexander had his hands full, and Mike felt embarrassed to talk to him


    since he had failed to protect Lily.


    Mike went after Rhea again when he saw her quietly going downstairs to her car. Since people thought


    she had died, she could not reveal her identity lest she exposed her secret. Therefore, she tried


    disguising herself with a face mask, sunsses, and a veiled hat to go outside.


    Mike noticed her starting her car and driving away, so he steadily started his and drove after her,


    keeping a safe distance so that she would not notice him. He even drove one of his rarely used cars to

    However, Rhea did not return to her parent’s home this time and went around the city instead.
