    A patient’s descriptions were crucial to a physician, especially when dealing withplicated diseases.


    Through detailed descriptions and observation, one could analyze and determine the state of a


    patient’s body and the internal injuries that may have caused a particr pain.


    Austin stared at his granduncle for two seconds and saw him leaning against the pillow with his eyes


    closed. Dominic could hardly move his lips while his face was whiter than paper. Still, the older man


    was coherent.


    Then Austin held the pen and jotted down what his granduncle said. After a while, Dominic suddenly


    stopped. Austin thought his granduncle would continue and looked at him, but the older man’s head


    had drooped aside.


    “Uncle Dom?” Austin called out tentatively but received no response.


    “Uncle Dom,” he called out again, flustered, “Uncle Dom!”


    After receiving no reply, Austin anxiously put down his pen and hugged the older man. “Uncle Dom!”


    He burst into tears and even forgot to check Dominic’s pulse.


    “What the f*ck are you doing?!” Dominic spoke again impatiently with a frown. Although he was upset,


    he was still alive.


    Austin let go of his granduncle and looked at him. He saw Dominic staring back with half-opened eyes.


    Austin chuckled in tears, saying, “Thank goodness you’re alive!”


    Dominic said, “You could have checked my pulse, couldn’t you?”


    “I-I forgot!” Austin said in shame. He knew his granduncle was right—being too anxious that he forgot


    all about that.


    ‘I would’ve known he fell asleep from exhaustion if I had checked his pulse.’


    “You f*cking dumb*ss!” Dominic took a breath and added, “Water!”


    Austin got up and picked up the ss of water. “It’s not warm anymore. I’ll get you another one.”


    Dominic did not object, and Austin left to fetch another ss of water. This time, Dominic drank all of it,


    seemingly very thirsty.


    Austin was intrigued that his granduncle seemed livelier and was not coughing or in pain. The older


    man even had more strength. Despite speaking so much just now, Dominic only napped for a minute.


    “Are you feeling better?” Austin asked, holding his granduncle’s wrist to check his pulse.


    Dominic nodded. “It doesn’t hurt so much now. The sensation of bugs crawling inside my body also


    seems to have disappeared.”


    “Your pulse is normal,” Austin said after careful observation. However, he was not relieved and felt


    even more worried. “What’s going on? I couldn’t even detect the symbiotes inside you.”

    Dominic noticed his grandnephew’s expression and could guess his thoughts. The older man lifted his


    hand and feebly knocked Austin’s forehead, saying, “Did you forget that I didn’t manage to detect


    anything inside you as well when you were sick?”
