    “Perhaps it’s a pathogen or something we don’t know about,” Dominic murmured, his eyes shut,


    drained of all energy. Meanwhile, the other two leaned over to listen intently since his voice was soft.

    “Uncle Dom?”

    “How is he?” Alexander asked.

    ‘We haven’t devised a solution, and Dominic told us to do nothing. Is there genuinely nothing we can


    do to help?’


    “How… should I help you?” Austin looked at Dominic’s face and murmured to himself.


    Alexander spoke gravely, “I think he’s trying to tell us not to do anything before determining what type


    of pathogens or symbiotes are inside your bodies. The less you do, the less mistakes you’ll make.”


    “But…” Austin was doubtful. He knew it was the truth but could not bear to sit and wait after seeing


    Dominic suffer constantly.


    “No buts, okay? Your granduncle is right, and it’s best to listen to him. Unless, of course, you can


    devise a definitive solution,” Alexander said as he patted Austin’s shoulder.
