Chapter 1904
Lily nced at the bodyguards, wanting to identify the easiest target to take down first. However, the
four bodyguards suddenly swayed left and right before she could move.
“Be careful!” Mike subconsciously stood before her to block them off. Although he was nervous, he still
protected her.
Lily looked at him, then at the four falling bodyguards.
Bang!
They copsed to the ground, looking senseless. Lily took a few steps back, but when she noticed they
were lying dead on the ground, she continued to observe them for a while longer.
“Are they dead?” Mike’s eyes widened as he asked carefully. His voice was low, sounding like he was
afraid of being heard.

Lily shook her head because she was unsure as well. However, her gut feeling told her they were not
pretending, judging from theirck of aggressive aura. Plus, there was no reason for them to y dead.
After some thought, she stepped forward, wanting to find out for herself.
“You…” Mike pulled her sleeve subconsciously. When he saw her gaze, he hesitated and released his
grip on her slowly. Still, he had reminded her, “Be careful.”
When Lily walked over, the four men still did not move. She decided to squat to take a closer look at
them.
Mike quickly followed suit, afraid they might hurt Lily if they were acting.
“They fainted,” Lily said as she turned to face him. Upon her examination, she found they were not
dead and had just passed out. The bodyguards did not move, appearing to be in a deep sleep. Lily
knew whoever attacked them probably used a drug to make them lose consciousness.
“Who did this?” Mike went over, and sure enough, they were still breathing. There was a light scent of
ether near their noses, which confirmed Lily’s assumption. They were indeed drugged.
However, these bodyguards were skilled in fighting. It would be easier to drug just one person, but
there were four bodyguards.
‘How did all four of them get simultaneously drugged? What are the chances of that happening?’
“I don’t know.” Lily pondered, unsure of who the suspect was. No matter who it was, it helped them with
a significant problem.
“Then now…” Mike was hesitant now that the situation was slightly different from what they had
expected.
“We’ll continue with our n. You head inside to search for the items while I watch out here,” Lily said.
Since they were here, they might as well continue their ns. Plus, the four bodyguards had already
fainted, so they were unsure if there would be any more unexpected situationster. Hence, it was still
necessary for one of them to keep watch.
“Then you…” Mike was still slightly hesitant. The current situation was too strange.
‘What if there are still other hidden risks?’
