to do now is wait for good news. I believe there’ll be good news!”
This was her way of persuading not only Olivia, but also herself.
“I know,” Olivia replied lightly.
To Lily''s astonishment, Olivia seemedpletely at ease.
Just as she was about to ask another question, Olivia spoke up, “By the way, did you know something
happened in theb?”
“Theb?” She nced in Alexander’s direction and noticed that he was focused on theputer
before asking, “What happened?”
“Police went to search the ce. Apparently, someone went missing. I think it’s that… Austin guy that
came to our studio before.”
Olivia could not quite remember his name. All she could recall was the man jumping up and down at
the studio door a while ago.
It seemed like Austin’s parents had finally called the police. Lily breathed a sigh of relief. “What
happened after that?”
“They didn’t find anyone,” Olivia replied. "I heard they searched theboratory from top to bottom but
found no one."
This was both an expected and an unexpected result.

Lily frowned. “Did they search everywhere?”
“Yes. They’ve checked all the surveince tapes as well.”
“Including the basement and the offices on the top floor?”
Although she had never been to the two ces she mentioned, she was surprised and curious that the
police managed to search them.
“Yeah. The person’s parents seem to be prestigious and powerful. They made a bigmotion and
pressured the police force. The police checked everything thoroughly. I heard they even dispatched the
K9 force but didn’t find anything. It was concluded that maybe theboratory had nothing to do with his
disappearance.”
Hearing this, Lily was speechless for a moment.
