Beverly sat back in the car. Her entire body was trembling with anger. This was a fraud! She had spent
99, 000 on that chair, and then Elsie spent another 1, 000 to bring it home. Now it was exactly 100,

Adding on the 500, 000 she used to rebuild the swimming pool for Vincent, she was really running out
of money!
“Mom, are you OK? What happened?”
