Can’t Be Bothered
Seeing that yton wanted to continue asking, Nicole coughed and beckoned to him.
"Come here, let me give you a kiss first."
yton paused and looked at her deeply, but the tips of his ears unconsciously turned red. some.
He walked over obediently, and his eyes darkened. He did not say anything else.
Nicole cupped yton''s face and gently kissed his lips. Just when she wanted to let go, yton
suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in so that she was glued to his body.
This light peck became an endless kiss.
After this kiss, the two of them were panting, and their faces were flushed. Fortunately, they stopped in
time.
After all, this was the Stanton Mansion, so they could not go overboard.

Nicole opened her eyes to look at yton. Her eyes were watery, glimmering, and charming.
This was such a difficult test of self-control for yton.
Just when he was about to say something, his body suddenly froze.
His gaze moved slowly, and his throat moved. His voice was hoarse as he coaxed Chatty, "Lil Chatty,
what are you peeking at?"
Nicole also froze and quickly looked over.
Chatty was standing there, leaning against the wall, and staring at her parents with wide eyes,

yton fixed Nicole''s hair before he walked over.

Chatty looked at her parents excitedly and wanted to participate in their kiss.
yton pursed his lips and pinched her cheek lightly.
He just pinched her,ughed, stood up, and left.
Chatty turned to look at him in disappointment >b''?PKU< finally looked at Nicole with anticipation as
she pointed to her own face.
"Muah muah!"
Nicole could not bear to see Chatty like that, so she carried her and gave her a big kiss.
Chatty shook her little legs with satisfaction andughed.
yton came out of the kitchen not long after and brought out a cup of milkshake
Chatty''s eyes widened in surprise. Unfortunately, yton handed the milkshake to Nicole.
"Try it. Third Brother just taught me how to make it."
The corners of Nicole''s mouth twitched as she hesitated to say something. She took a sip first and
nodded in affirmation.
Then, she looked at yton seriously and said, "Next time, let Kai do it himself. He taught you how
because he was toozy to do it!"
yton frowned slightly and thought, ''Is that really Kai’s purpose?''
Kai came out of the kitchen and put his hands on his waist.
"Don''t think that I can''t hear you, Lil N! How dare you disregard your brother''s good intentions?!”
Nicole raised her eyebrows and said with a smile, "Third Brother, are you feeling better today? Are you
still having nightmares?"
Kai was annoyed and turned to leave.
He could not be bothered.
Nicoleughed and looked at yton.
"Don''t be fooled by him. He’s really shrewd!"
yton took her cup andughed casually.
"Third Brother has good intentions. Don''t you like it? I can make it for you once I master it. Not to
mention, I really enjoy cooking."
His voice was warm and pleasant.
It was inexplicably reassuring.
Floyd was guiding Levi with homework and had a headache.
He was still sighing at the dinner table as he thought, ''Children these days have it so tough!’
Floyd turned to look at the happy-go-lucky Chatty and thought about the grand n he made for her.
After a while, he thought that he would just let it go for the time being.
Everyone finished eating.
Levi took Chatty to the yroom, and Nicole and Floyd were talking downstairs.
Just as they were talking, the butler came in.
“Chairman, the Lindstroms are here again."
Floyd frowned slightly and nced at yton, who was talking about a project with Kai.
yton immediately understood and walked over.
"I got news about Samuel and sent someone to inform the Lindstroms because

I was afraid that they would be anxious. But Samuel isn''t back yet, so I don''t know why they''re here."
Floyd frowned slightly. "There''s news about Samuel?"
yton nodded calmly and went over to pour a cup of tea.
"Someone changed Samuel''s identity and locked him up in prison, so it took more effort to look for him.

No wonder the people from the Lindstrom family could not find Samuel.

Nicole smiled and looked at yton. "Is he alright?”

Mrs. Lindstrom nodded with red eyes.
"Yes, thank you, Mr. Sloan. Thank you, Ms. Stanton. Thank you, Chairman Stanton. Your family is our
greatest benefactor."
Floyd waved his hand. "Don''t say that!"
After exchanging pleasantries, Floyd asked them to sit down and talk.
Mr. Lindstrom rubbed his hands together, looked at yton uneasily, and said, "Mr. Sloan, how many
days will it take for Samuel toe back?”
yton paused. "At least two months."
"So long?!" Mrs. Lindstrom eximed. "Can you bring him back sooner? I''m really worried about his
health..."
yton smiled. "Ik you go through the normal channels. It''ll only take two or three days to fly him back.
But he can’te back through the normal channel since countless parties are watching him. He’ll die
as soon as he shows himself. I arranged for him toe back through a special channel. He''ll first take
an Erethrean cruise ship from Erethrea, then take a boat from Erethrea to Mediania. He can only take a
flight once he''s within Medianian borders. This is already the quickest route.”
Mrs. Lindstrom''s face turned pale in shock.
Mr. Lindstrom hurriedly held his wife back. "Don''t talk nonsense if you don''t understand what''s going

"Okay, good."
Mrs. Lindstrom could not help but speak with hesitation, "Actually, wouldn''t it save more time if we sent
a helicopter?"
