Chapter 1948 Terrible Friends


    Nicole picked up the phone in a blur and answered the call without looking at the caller ID.


    Ian''s agitated voice came through.


    "You guys are terrible friends! Why didn’t you take me with you when you leftst night?!”


    Nicole gradually opened her eyes. Julie also stared at her wide-eyed.


    "Is something wrong?"


    Before Ian could reply, they could hear someone bashing the door through the phone.


    Julie suddenly sat up.


    A familiar female voice came through the phone. "Oh no! Samuel’s really here!"


    The call was suddenly hung up.


    Nicole looked at Julie in shock. "What just happened?! Was that Tumi’s voice just now?"

    "Yeah, it''s her! Samuel’s flight is supposed to arrive this morning. When we leftst night, Lumi and Ian


    were still drinking together..."
