    Andre said, "Lie down, I''m gonna cut your nails."


    "No, I can do it myself." Mia didn''t want her husband to baby her too much.


    But Andre gentlyid her on the bed, opened the drawer, and picked up the nail clippers, "You''re


    pregnant now, and she shouldn’t bend over. It''ll put pressure on your belly. If I don''t trim your nails, who


    will?"


    Mia looked at her gentle husband, walked over and gave him a peck. It wasn''t a burning passion, but it

    Andre looked at her, "I''m already doing good deeds."

    Mia shook her head, starting to argue, "Your son somehow snuck into my belly. If I hadn''t fought, I


    might not have found him. So, not all fights are bad."


    Andre nced at his wife''s belly, "You want to argue with me? I''ll tell you the harm of fighting. You


    almost miscarried and you''ve broken a bone. You were sent to the police station and you..."


    "Alright, honey, don''t be so serious. You really need to lighten up." Mia couldn''t out-argue him, so she


    yed along.


    Andre asked, "Are you going to fight again?"


    "Depends on the situation." Mia said.


    In the middle of the night, Mia''s stomach growled. Andre had to get up in the middle of the night to


    keep herpany while she ate.


    While eating, Mia asked, "Honey, if I have a difficultbor, would you choose to save me or the baby?"


    "Stop talking, eat. Don''t mention such ill-omened things." Andre scolded her.


    Mia continued eating, and asked again, "What if my appearance changes..."


    "Your appearance won''t change." Andre said.

    Mia was a little annoyed, "Honey, I feel like I can''t talk to you."


    Andre said, "Finish eating, then we can talk."


    Mia, spooning an egg from the bowl, said, "Honey."


    "Eat first, then talk." Andre insisted.


    "Okay." Mia agreed, "Honey, I..."

    Mia pouted her lips, not knowing why that she had so much to say, "Okay, I get it, eat first."


    Just as they were eating, Andre''s phone rang. He nced at the caller ID, and hung up directly.


    Mia quickly finished her meal, wiped her mouth, and looked at her husband, "Honey, who was that on


    the phone?"


    "An old subordinate." Andre said.


    Mia was a little jealous, "Which one? A man or a woman? Why is she calling you in the middle of the


    night? Why does she have your private number? Did you guys used to call each other in the middle of


    the night?"


    Andre answered, "Don''t overthink it, she''s just a regr subordinate. She''s studying abroad now, not


    working anymore."


    Mia said unhappily, "Even though she''s studying abroad, she doesn''t understand basic decency and


    called in the middle of the night. I''ve never worked a day in my life but even I know not to bother


    people."


    Andre agreed with his wife, "You''re right."


    Back in the bedroom, Mia fell asleep immediately. Andre chuckled, it would be nice if she got jealous


    this easily.


    He tucked her in, and gently stroked her belly. He lowered his head and kissed her on the forehead,


    "Goodnight, Mia."


    A new week began, and the temperature rose again.


    Leo drove to school, and the back seat was filled with Mia and Molly''s stuff, including handbags,


    tissues, wet wipes, water cups and so on. Heined at home, "My car is turning into a nanny


    mobile."


    Andre said, "After this semester ends, I''ll deposit a million in your card. Buy whatever car you want."


    Leo hugged Andre excitedly, "If Mia gets pregnant again, I''ll be the driver."

    Mia, wearing a loose dress, was holding a thick coat. She walked into Molly''s bedroom, took a trench


    coat from the wardrobe, and went to the car.

    Leo was a good driver, so everyone at home was at ease. Mia sat in the back seat, and she told Leo,

    As the ss bell rang, the teacher took attendance, asking, "Is Molly here?"


    "Here." A whirlwind of a girl rushed in the door.


    Molly went to sit next to Mia, "Wow, that was close. I almost didn''t make it."


    "What were you doing?" Mia asked.


    Molly said, "I overslept this morning, and got a coffee on the way. While I was drinking, I spilled coffee


    on my clothes. My brother went shopping halfway through the trip and bought me a new outfit. Do you


    like my ck dress? My brother bought it for me. I think he has good taste."


    Mia nodded, "Chad, as expected of the man who often goes shopping with you, you''ve trained him to


    have a good eye."


    Molly was incredibly proud. She believed Chad''s good taste was all thanks to her.


    Leo asked, "Molly, where did you change?"

    The professor in the front row looked at the three chattering people, saying, "The student who was
