Chapter 229
The butler looked pretty edgy too.
Hansen came up with a n, "Let''s go, let''s eat all their food tonight, leave them with nothing for
tomorrow. That''ll really piss them off." Hansen strutted off to the kitchen, clutching the bag of super
spicy instant noodles.
Half an hourter, back in Mia''s bedroom, her husband Andre had indeed returned.
After a shower, Andre climbed back into bed, intending to read a book, only to find an extra leg
intertwined with his.
He looked down to see Mia propping her chin in her hand, grinning at him.
"Mia, this is dangerous," he warned.
Mia justughed and shook her head. "Sweetie, it''s you who''s in danger, not me."
Because she was on her period now, she was the top priority.
Andre''s reading mood waspletely gone, reced by a "kitten" crawling up his leg.
"Mia, remember, your period ends in a few days," Mr. Cedillo flipped over, pinning his wife beneath him.
His arm rested above Mia''s head as he tried to reason with her, "You need to think about the future."
Mia wrapped her arms around her husband''s neck, lifting herself up to nt a kiss on his lips.
Her husband''s kisses were tantalizing.
Her kisses were like eating a tart apple, a light peck without entanglement, but deep enough to capture
his heart.
"And what if I don''t want to think about the future? What are you going to do about it?"
Mr. Cedillo bit his tongue, looking down at the innocent Mia beneath him. "Mia, you can only be
reckless for a few more days."
With that, he threw off the covers and quickly disappeared into the bathroom.
Back on the bed, Mia rolled around cheerfully.
When Andre emerged, Mia''s right eyelid started to twitch.
"Honey, are you trying to torment me? Why do I always feel uneasy?"
After a cold shower, Andre looked at the girl on the bed. "I won''t ''deal with'' you these few days, maybe
your eyelid has some kind of premonition."
Mia''s right eyelid felt ufortable, she started to feel scared. Was she about to hit a streak of bad

She looked at her husbandying on the bed, her heart pounding. If she behaved well these few days,

After lying down, she moved closer to her husband.
Andre thought to himself, was she trying to butter him up already?
Just as they were about to fall asleep, there was a hurried knocking at the door. "Mrs. Cedillo, are you
asleep?"
Mia sprang awake.
She looked at her husband. "Did you hear someone calling me?"
Andre could sense the butler''s urgency. He threw off the covers and got out of bed. "I bet dad has
another emergency, otherwise the butler wouldn''t be so frantic."
Hearing that Hansen might be sick, Mia leaped out of bed, even putting on her shoes backwards as
she ran to the door.
"Butler, slow down, what happened to my dad?"
The butler was all red in the face, lips included.
"Mrs. Cedillo, please go to the dining room and see Mr. Hansen."
Mia and Andre rushed downstairs, while the butler went to find Molly.
There was amotion in the house; all the Cedillo family members were awakened.
They arrived at the dining room.
Mia took in the sight on the table.
On one te, half of the super spicy instant noodles remained, shining red, looking very spicy.
At this point, Hansen had already eaten half.
Another te had only a few bites taken.
But four bottles of milk on the table had been knocked over.
Hansen''s tears and snot were about to mix.
Soon Leo and Molly arrived too.
He took a chill breath and looked at the people who came. He pointed at the super spicy instant
noodles on the table and asked Mia and Molly loudly, "Mia, Molly, what in the world did you buy? Are
you trying to kill someone? Look, my mouth is so numb from the spice."
Mia stopped in her tracks, looking at the five empty packages on the table.
Molly was also startled, standing in ce with her mouth agape.
Seeing the package, Leo said, "Grandpa, this is super spicy instant noodles."
Hansen was in tears and took another gulp of milk. "Is this poison?"
Hansen''s lips were already swelling.
Mia felt someone watching her.

disappeared from the sight of the crowd.
Molly immediately pulled out her phone to call Chad. "Chad, help."

"Come pick me up."

Hansen noticed his daughter trying to escape. "Molly, where are you going?"

them without knowing what they were.
"Andre, my mouth ispletely numb."
Mia hung her head even lower.
Andre immediately ordered someone to get ice from the fridge for Hansen to apply to his mouth.
As the husband, he had to deal with the trouble his wife had stirred up.
Andre took Hansen to the living room.
Bruce and Naomi also came out in their pajamas. "Dad, what happened?"
The butler was also applying an ice pack around Hansen''s mouth.
Naomi was puzzled. Things were fine before she went to sleep, but now his face was red, tears
flowing, and his mouth swollen?
Andre said, "Mia, go get some water."
Mia immediately ran to fetch water.
She put the water on the table and then quietly retreated.

Chad asked, "What did you do?"
Molly replied, "I think I''vended myself in hot water."
