    At the hospital, Mia found a wheelchair for Jade. They visited their good friend who was resting in the


    Pain Department.


    "Oh my, Leo, you''re hurt too?" Jade asked.


    Leo turned his head and looked at his visiting friends. His eyesnded on Mia, "What on earth did you


    say to your husbandst night? He barged into my room without a word and started hitting me. What


    did I do wrong?"


    Mia walked over to Leo, raised her hand, and gently tapped his head, "Hush, keep your voice down."


    She plucked a strand of hair from Leo''s head. Jade and Leo watched Mia, thinking she was punishing


    Leo.


    "Mia, I swear I''ll never have anything to do with you and your husband again in my life." Leo said.


    Leo shouted angrily, loud enough for people outside the hospital corridor to hear.


    Mia, holding Leo''s hair, turned around and pushed Jade over to Leo''s bedside. While Jade wasn''t


    looking, she casually plucked a strand of her long hair.


    "You two wait here in the room for a bit. I have some things to take care of." Mia said.


    With that, Mia, holding two strands of hair, turned around and left.


    Inside the room, Jade yelled towards the door, "Hey, Mia, how are two people with impaired mobility


    supposed to look after each other?"

    Mia ran to the Identification Department. Shepleted the paperwork and handed the two strands of


    hair to the nurse, "If it''s not the child''s parents, can we use the hair of other rtives to determine


    parent-child rtionship through DNA testing?"


    "If it''s other rtives, we can only determine the blood rtionship."


    "Well, blood rtionship counts. I hope you can do it as soon as possible." Mia said.


    Mia''s heart started racing. She took deep breaths in her nervousness, forgetting that she had left her


    friends in the room.


    Inside the room, Leo looked at Jade, "Jade, I need to go to the bathroom."


    "Do you think I can help you get to the bathroom?" Jade patted her leg, "I don''t even have a crutch."


    Leo said, "At least you have a wheelchair to use, can you help me call a nurse?"


    Jade looked down at the wheelchair, "How do I use this thing? It''s my first time sitting in one. I don''t


    know how."


    Leo helplessly looked at the ceiling and pressed the bell by his bed. Then, the inte rang, "Bed 23,


    do you need any help?"


    "Could you send a nurse over? We have an extra person who needs help here." Leo said.


    Jade was still trying to operate her wheelchair, "How do I use this thing Mia got me? It won''t move."


    Mia was gone for two hours. During that time, Jade learned how to operate the wheelchair. She was


    circling around Leo''s bed, "Leo, it''s really convenient to have a wheelchair. I''ll ask the nurse to get you


    er, so we each have our own."


    Leo said, "I can''t bend my waist."


    "Oh, right, your injuries are more severe." Jade said.


    Jade asked Leo, "What on earth did you do to get beaten up so badly by Andre?"


    "If I knew that, I could die in peace." Leo said.

    Mia was back. She looked at Jade, then at Leo. They seemed to be having a good time together. She

    Mia walked in. She was met with usations from both of them, saying her actions were irresponsible.


    Jade even bragged to Mia that she had learned how to use the wheelchair and was having a great


    time.


    In the afternoon, Jade was picked up from the hospital by Chad. As soon as he heard that Jade was in

    Mia asked, "Chad, are you afraid of Jade seeing my husband?"


    Chad looked at Mia, their eyes met. Mia''s words struck Chad''s heart. He still didn''t know about Jade''s

    his rtionship with Jade worried him.


    After Chad took Jade away, only Mia and Leo were left in the room.


    Leo asked Mia, "Why did your husband hit mest night?"


    "Leo, Jade is Andre''s sister, your family." Mia said.


    "Are you kidding me?" Leo wasn’t buying it.


    Mia nced at Leo on the bed, thinking he wasn''t too bright.


    "You rest now, I''ve arranged special care for you." Mia said.


    She got up with her bag and left the hospital room.


    At 9 p.m., Andre came home.


    He had a social engagement today, so he got home quitete. Mia had been waiting for him at home


    for a long time.


    Andre assumed his wife was waiting for him toe home for some affection. Just as he was about to


    wrap his arms around his lovely wife''s waist and make out, Mia pulled out a piece of paper from her


    pocket, "Darling, Molly has been found."


    The lust in Andre''s eyes instantly disappeared as he stared at Mia.


    After her words, the room fell silent.


    Andre let go of Mia, "You did a blood test."


    "I was the only one who had the chance to get close to her." Mia said calmly.


    She ced the test results, for which she had waited two hours, in her husband''s hands, "I''m sorry,


    darling. I didn''t believe you before. Jade is indeed rted to Leo by blood."


    Andre was taken aback. He couldn''t believe what he was hearing. He had been searching for Molly for


    fifteen years, and now, suddenly finding her, Andre didn''t know what to do. The test results in his hand


    were still warm. He carefully unfolded the report his wife had folded several times.


    The final result was a shock to him.


    Mia hadn''t seen thising. When she got the news in the afternoon, she was just as stunned as her


    now-husband.


    "Babe, you can break the news to mom now." Mia said.


    Andre stared at the piece of paper, his eyes starting to brim with tears. This was Mia''s first time seeing


    a man cry. His moist eyes made her heart ache. She stepped forward and held her husband tightly in


    her arms.


    That night, Andre knelt before his mother''s photo. Mia didn''t know how to pay her respects, she just


    followed her husband''s lead and did as he did.


    There was only one cushion. Andre, dressed in his dress pants, was kneeling on the floor. He ced


    the cushion under his wife''s knees.
