As soon as she finished speaking, Za shook off his hand, turned around, and walked away.
Lincoln and Lucy could not hear their conversation. Based on Za’s actions and Simon’s expression,
they could tell that they had parted unhappily.
While Lucy felt sorry for Simon, she looked at Lincoln beside her. She thought of the harsh words that
Palmer had said in the hospital.
