    Charles smirked. “Let’s not talk about this now. I’lle to pick you up.”


    “Pick me up? Where are we going?” Noelle was surprised. “Don’t you have work?”


    “I’ll take you out for just a while. You’re not busy at Frotconn anyway, right?”


    Charles had a point. During the meeting, Noelle had been told to hand over her work to others. The

    Noelle paused for a moment before starting to pack her things. Her assistant, Ava, saw this and

    they’ll think you’re guilty!”


    Noelle smiled and patted Ava’s hand. “I’m not leaving permanently. I’m just going home early since


    there’s nothing to do. Thank you for believing in me. You should keep working hard. I have to go for


    now.”


    “Ms. Shaw!” Ava watched Noelle leave with a frown on her face. She felt something was off with


    Noelle, especially her hesitant look earlier.
