    Chapter 340 What The Heck!


    Who was shaking her head wearily. “I think not, grandpa will be lonely if I’m not at home.”


    She paused a second before continuing, “But I appreciate that, your changes surprise me.”


    Nova, though didn’t think like Mabel, had to admit that what Henry did indeed showed consideration for


    his grandma, and she shared the same idea with him on it. Grandma was too old and weak to undergo


    any upheaval of traveling.


    Henry just smiled and did not speak.


    Then he was ignored entirely by Nova and Mabel till dinner time. Mabel’s mind waspletely upied


    by Nova during the meal while Henry felt pretty left out.


    It was time to leave for them after dinner. Mabel stood on the porch watching them with her special brand


    of amiable smile for Nova.


    “Be careful when you are on your trip and you two can spend some time to stick around if you have


    enough time when you are done with your business. Ensure you gain adequate sleep and rest,


    understand?”


    Nova nodded heavily. “We will, grandma, and you must take care of yourself. Don’t forget the medicine,


    understand?”


    Nova teased Mabel with her tone while saying, sessfully delighting Mabel, even Henry.


    The suspicion of a smile on the corner of his mouth was spotted by Nova.


    “You are such a little monkey! Mabel had really augh over Nova’s naughty behavior. “Well, I assure


    you, I will take my medicine on time.”


    Her answer put a smile on Nova’s face. “Then, grandma, we should go now, good night!”


    “I’ll walk you out.”


    Saying this, Mabel walked toward the car.


    Nova and Henry followed hurriedly.


    The chauffeur had been there waiting for them. When they were about to get behind the car, Henry took


    a stride to open the car door of the back seat.


    Nova didn’t get in the car, instead, she was standing behind him to wait to get in first. Henry, surprisingly,


    turned his head at her, making it as if he opened the door for her especially.


    Nova still didn’t move until Mabel got the message and poked her with her elbow. “Nova, why don’t you


    get in the car?”


    Nova’s expression instantly became unnatural. She wailed inwardly. I was going to get into the


    passenger seat.


    Henry stood motionless holding the door open. With resignation, Nova got in the car.


    Henry followed and sat close to her in the back seat.


    Mabel now was truly happy. Exchanging goodbyes the car slowly pulled away. Mabel watched the car


    until it was out of sight.


    It seemed that tonight she could have a sweet dream.


    Inside the car.


    Nova and Henry simultaneously reversed their attitudes as soon as they were out of range of Mabel.


    They didn’t talk, causing an embarrassing and ice–cold vibe inside, and the chauffeur was under great


    pressure to be with them.


    All the way to the airport, there wasn’t even eye contact between Nova and Henry. Silence seemed to


    linger on forever.


    It was a trip only for Nova and Henry, even Evan wasn’t here.


    They were aboard the ne smoothly, but there was a headache on Nova’s part–their seats were close


    together again.


    Nova now really got a headache thinking of the imminent embarrassment, but what happenedter


    surprised her. Henry once again


    behaved like a gentleman in front of her–he left the window seat for her!


    After Nova took her seat Henry pulled the curtain around their seat.


    They two were in a very private and intimate space now.


    It was a world of the two. The thought shed through Nova’s mind and gave her a strange feeling

    Kelly was bubbling up with anger when she learned that Henry and Nova were on their flight to S city.


    She had been a real hysterical woman. “Look what you’ve done!” Smacking her hands down on the table


    Kelly was throwing a tantrum.


    Cassie was very frightened. Shaking her head in a panic she hastened to exin. “My bad, Miss Bush. I


    didn’t anticipate that Payne would go back on his words. And ording to my investigation, Payne


    indeed harbored designs on Nova…But I can’t..
