    I’ll pick you up after you finish your work tonight. I can send my chauffeur if you don’t like meing.”


    Nova didn’t hesitate to refuse. “Ste could give me a lift on her way home.”


    Chester heaved a sigh. “Alright then. See youter.”


    Nova pressed her lips and wanted to say “See you never.” But she didn’t say it as she knew that it would


    be useless.


    She got off the car and went directly into her office.


    Leonard and the others remained silent when they saw Nova pulling a long face.


    Eudora blinked and said incredulously, “Is it because of what happened yesterday? That she pulls a long


    face?”


    “No one would be happy after Old Mr. King said such things to her.” Leonard cast Eudora a nce.


    “Hurry, get to work before the boss gets so angry and fires you.”


    “Hum! You think the boss is as petty as you are?” Retorted Eudora bluntly as she was still mad at


    Leonard.


    Leonard was amused. “I am petty? You know what my name Leonard means? It is Lion. Always be regal


    and strong as a lion.”
