Davin’s words sent waves of shock to everyone present in the room. Mabel, Rodney, and Nichs
looked at one another in confusion. Meanwhile, Mabel was cursing Janice silently in her heart. Janice,

use the bathroom for a bit.”

Nichs let out a sigh after ending the phone call. He was conflicted and sad about what was going to
happen to Wilbur.
