Chapter 302
Chapter 302 May I Come In
When Lysander went to the hospital the next day, she specially made a trip to the test center.
In no time, the results were out.
Lysander spaced out as she stared at the word “A type on the test report.
In her mind, she reyed the tear-choked words of Lysanne’s parents yesterday. My name is
Howard Thorne. This is my wife, Molly Anderson. We named our only daughter Lysanna. However,
she went missing when she was very young. Your mother… I mean, my wife met with a car ident
while searching for our daughter. She was lucky to survive, but her legs were paralyzed, confining
her to a wheelchair all these years. Lyss was adopted from an orphanage. We named her Lysanne,
a very simr-sounding name….
“Dr. Thorne, what brings you here?”
Jolted out of her thoughts, Lysander folded the test report and tucked it into her white coat. “Dr.
Latour.”
“Apatient’s test results are out? You could’ve just had them upload them directly into the system. did
you personallye to collect them?” Melinda asked.
“It’s a bit urgent, so I came over to inquire about it,” Lysander replied.
“Which bed is the patient?”
“Bed No. 53, Prisci Ziegler.”
Why
“Oh, I see, I know of her. Her situation is quite serious. No wonder you made the trip yourself. Have
you gotten the results?”
“No. They aren’t out yet.”
“Don’t worry. Even without you here, there’s still me. I’m aware of her condition. Rest easy,” Melinda
consoled.
“Okay.”
After Melinda had left, Lysander tore up the test report and tossed the pieces into the trash can.
The transfer order came quickly.
Lysander had initially thought it would only be issued next week, but Fred handed it to her that
Thursday.
“Our coordination with the other hospital went smoothly. They have reviewed your case and are
quite impressed with your track record, so they would like you to go over ahead of schedule.”
Recently, Lysander had been caught up in a whirlwind of events. Thus, it was probably for the best
that she left sooner.
She went to bid Prisci farewell.

Prisci seemed much more spirited, her eyes sparkling at the sight o her. “Lysander.”
“Hey, feeling any better?”
Prisci’s face was already slightly rounded, rendering her utterly adorable when she smiled. “My
dad hired a caregiver for me. She prepares four dishes and a soup daily, so I’m stuffed every single
day.”
“Yourst abortion was quite risky, and it took a heavy toll on your health. Make sure to eat more
and replenish your nutrients. Only when you’re healthy again can your father be at ease,” Lysander
advised.
“I know, Lysander. I’ve been doing my best to eat.”
ntact you again?”
“How are things with Harry? Did he contact you
Prisci shook her head. “I’ve blocked him and his mother. Now, I’m just waiting for the court
hearing. I don’t want anything to do with him anymore.”
“I sec.”
Just then, there was a knock on the ward door.
Prisci said, “I bet the caregiver is here with lunch again. Lysander, I can’t finish it all by myself.
Join
me-”
Before she had even finished her utterance, she eximed, “Harry? Get out! Get out of here!”
Snapping to her senses, Lysander quickly moved to shield Prisci behind her. “How did you get in
here?! Get out!”
Dr. Ziegler had already told the security guards not to allow him in again.
“I brought him in.”
“Mr. Guerra?” Prisci eximed in surprise.
As soon as Josiah spoke, Harry obsequiously took a step back, ceding the doorway to him.
With Josiah present, Prisci seemingly let her guard down a bit.
“Mr. Guerra, did you need something from me?”
This is the property of N?-velDrama.Org.
Josiah grunted affirmatively. “May Ie in?”
