Chapter 563: Ruins of alendar


    The Enochian Empire was then drowned to the sea as tens of thousands of lightning bolts strikes the empire, the gods carve the border of the Empire from the rest of the world and the sease to grab thend toward the bottom and so end the story of the Enochian Empire or at least that is what the divine beings of that era had thought.


    The Ages did not change, and the deities all felt relieved that the destiny was averted.

    These gods recuperate in their temples and their realms as most of them was injured after the great sh between them and the humans of the Enochian Empire.


    They told their seer and oracles to speak of the victory of the gods against those rebellious humans


    What they hidden was that the fact of victory and defeat between the two sides was very close. There was a point of time where the gods could have lost the battle.


    But the victors are the one who would write history. Years passes and the Gods grewcent.


    But then suddenly one day, the tribtion is triggered.


    There were signs of corpus. But this sign was covered from the eyes of the deities. Seven Stars fallen portent to the birth of Levitia


    His birth signifies the end of the Age of the Gods.


    Some could divine this and try to harm him in his childhood.


    But he was protected by divine ordinance and those beings that tries to harm him was burn by purifying fire or smote by red thunder


    When the day arrived and Amara give Levitia Lightbreaker, a sword made of Enochian steels, she did not know that she was fulfilling a great prophecy of the Ages prophecy, ending the Age of Gods.


    And Levitia defeats all the champions of the other Gods and remain all victorious.


    Levitia be the strongest human of his era and Amara was the final winner of the Age of Gods.


    Since then she possessed all the power of the deities that Levitia had defeated.


    She chose humans. And she won. The Age of Gods ended. And Age of Man began.


    Elkar close his eyes for a second.


    All of this shed in his mind in just a few seconds.


    He only heard the story a few days ago.


    It is no wonder that story is still inside his mind. If not for the fact that Levitia is the enemy of his kind, he would have had half a mind of admiring him


    He then opens his eyes and walk again, once again his mind goes to the story and goes to the hero of humanity, Levitia.


    Levitia is famed for more than just his prowess.


    He was also famed because of the Enochian sword that he wields against his enemies. Lightbreaker. That is the name of his sword.


    Enochian steel had magical properties. It is rare and imbued with primordial magic. The metal of Enochian did note from this world.


    When this world was first formed, meteors falls from the sky.


    This is where metale from. Of course, humans did not know this. Astiel known this basic knowledge of creation of the world.


    These beast isrge in size and they haverge teeth. Some of them have spikes on their back. Others had three horns on their heads. Some of them look like titanic lizards.


    All of them was wiped out when "that" meteor crashed onto this. What is bizarre about this was that it is a small meteor.


    The speed itself was not that remarkable.


    Even when it crashed it did not do much then create some five feet deep crater.


    While that is quite impressive, it pales inparison whenpared to other meteors that had fallen onto this before.


    But then, this meteor exploded all of a sudden, creating a massive energy st that sted off an entire continent to dust.


    But normal metal is not the only thing that hade from space.


    Enochian steele from onerge meteor that wiped out the Beast civilizations that first appears on this mud ball suspended in the middle of nowhere.


    These meteors are different from other meteors.


    The other meteors fall into this naturally. But for the meteors that produces Enochian steel, nothing about it was natural.


    Of course, this is also the knowledge that Astiel had bestowed upon him. He was a wiling student, and Astiel is a knowledgeable teacher.


    Of course, Elkar knows he must serve some purpose for this ancient demon to pay attention to him.


    He just didn''t know it yet.

    But, people forget. When God bleeds, then the faith is shaken. When God dies, then faith also slowly dies.


    And when even faith is no longer, then these deities would just fade into obscurity.


    Elkar then walk back toward Astiel and Jurgan.


    He shakes his mind of the many thoughts he had and he look at Astiel as Astiel seems to have found what he is looking for.


    Astiel once again bring out his wings. Elkar look toward Astiel.


    Then he flies into the air and swoop down through the ground like lightning


    BOOM!


    he charges toward the ground but instead of the scene where Astiel would crash against the ground, when Astiel charge to the ground, the ground gives way and arge opening crumbles down as Astiel keep charging deeper into that deep opening.


    ''Is it really here?'' Elkar thought to himself.


    Jurgan chuckles as he also brings out his wing once again and flew downward toward that opening.


    ''Wait for me, brother!'' he shouted as his voice echoes in thatrge opening.


    Like an abyss that lead to the deepest extent of this world, the echoes sounded majestic and it keep reverberating even as Jurgan flew even deeper toward that darkness below.


    Elkar did not follow them searching for that thing.


    Instead, he walks to that area and stand on the edges of that opening and look down.


    The dust rises up and then after a few second, the dust settles back down as he could seerge titanic structure below, illuminated a bit by the shining bright light of the moonlight


    It was then that Elkar notices that even the Darkness that Astiel had created is going downward toward that opening, like some kind of sucking spiraling water storm he once saw when he sails the seas.


    If not for that, how could the moon shows its light?


    ''Howrge'' he thought to himself while feeling how small he really is.


    ''An underground civilization'' that is the first thought that came into his mind but then he shakes his head.


    Maybe, it is not so much of an underground civilization but instead the lower part of some city buried under the ground.


    Elkar would not put it past them.


    The ancient dynasties are known to possess great magic.


    It is unlike the world today, where mana is scarce. Other than bloodline magic or inherited magic, normal people could not practice magic.


    And since then martial arts flourished.


    The method of inner energy has some simrities to some concept of mana refining in the past and with mana declining each year, there is no magician that had been produced by training anymore.


    Elkar could only sigh at this.


    Elkar could see that Jurgan and Astiel keep flying deeper and deeper into thisrge city underground.


    The Darkness around him receded.


    It is not surprising that such a huge secret is hidden here.


    Thend here is barren unlike the Tree Rings of the Arakian tribes, or the Illusion Forest of the Negevian.


    Saranites lives in the Green ins with their beast and Ereshdu lives in and of Temples


    Only Vergonian would set their ancestralnds on the Ruins of Alendar. Elkar was shocked when he first saw the gate toward the ruins of Alendar.


    It is called a gate but the gate itself was not created by the Vergonian and it looks nothing like a gate.


    The so called Alendar Gate is two straight wide tall structure that is around one thousand feet in height.


    The distance between them is one hundred feet from each other. Viewed from afar it looks like the pirs of a destroyed gate.


    the Elders believe that it is even taller than that as most of the base of the structure is under the sand.


    The Ruins of Alendar is what people of the thirteen tribe called therge patch of barren sandynd that one would see aftering out from the Illusion Forest if you travelled to the East.
