    “Are you just going to sit back and let Veronica’s issue fester and persist?”


    Conrad stuck one hand into the pocket of his pants and clenched his fist with the other. He knocked the


    desk gently with his knuckles. “Her personal matter has had an adverse effect on our family and


    Spinfluence Group. Even if Old Mrs. Kings dotes on her very much, that doesn’t mean that everyone


    else in the family has to suffer the consequences because of her.”

    Matthew ced his elbows on the armrest of his work chair and used his fingers to support his
