the woman he truly loves? And he even found a wife who looks a lot like me? You’re joking, right?”

“Forget it, no point dwelling on this. Whoever he wants to be with is his business. He thinks they look
like me, but I don’t see it.” Erica quickly bounced back to her cheerful self, “The day after tomorrow,
Larkin and I are going to volunteer at the monastery! Which pastry I brought backst time was your
favorite? I’ll get you some when I return!”
Rosalynn watched her.
“You came rushing over here first thing in the morning, didn’t even ask how Jacob is doing?” She
seemed a bit helpless.
Erica looked a bit downcast, “You came back so quickly, you must have resolved the issue, so I didn’t
bother asking”
