    As her nails dug into her palm, Arielle urged, “You said you needed my help. Exin.”


    “It’s about the patient,” Carter revealed grimly. “The previous customers got better swiftly, but this


    particr customer is still in a critical condition. I need your help to check him out. Can you do that?”


    Arielle inclined her head. “I’ll do my best.”


    Carter heaved a sigh of relief before letting out a self


    deprecating chuckle.
