If a beast was stronger than the capacity of one''s skill, the bond between the tamed beast and the tamer would either be severed or one would receive heavy setbacks.
Loyalty was very important in this case.
If a tamed beast loved its tamer and didn''t want to leave him/her, it would restrict its strength, giving the tamer some time to adjust their capabilities so as to fit each other.
Such tamed beasts wouldn''t follow every instruction because they would have regained full control over themselves.
However, if their loyalty was extremely high, they would even sacrifice themselves for their tamer.
In the beginning, Shane thought that his Innate Skill would be roughly the same, with the sole difference that he would receive a higher boost in terms of tameable beasts and strength with every quality rank his skill rose up.

As such, it was important to pick an upation with high quality because the quality of an upation couldn''t be changedter, at least humanity had never seen such a case in thest two centuries.
Increasing the star rating of upation was not particrly difficult at the first two stars because one only had to fulfill the requirements and acquire certain items.
Most humans that fought against beasts had at least a silver quality upation, while other humans picked upations that helped them earn more ie like lifestyle upations.
Some tried to figure out ways to fulfill hidden requirements in order to obtain upations of a higher quality.
There were too many benefits one could gain with a high-quality upation but wasting too much time on fulfilling unknown requirements would result in wasted cultivation talent, which would slow down the older one became without reaching a higher stage, and degrade other aspects of their overall strengthpared to their peers.
One had to get the perfect timing or end up weakerpared to others.
Artisans, for example, were also highly demanded, and having a bronze upation like cksmith, alchemist and so on would increase the chances to produce better products.
In the end, even farmer upations were highly sought out, because the crops they grew and looked after were highly nutritious and more filling than normal nts.

Overall Shane concluded that Umbra was already stronger than most matured Shadow-snakes, even those at the peak of the 3rd Wild stage due to the high-quality Umbra possessed.
Smiling brightly, Shane decided to take a look at the upgrade function to figure out how much funds he had to umte to upgrade Umbra''s quality into [Extraordinary]. This would help him select the most perfect path for his tamed beast to evolve in the future.
But what he saw was rather confusing, which made his jaw drop to the ground where it would remain for the time being.
