"He… He showed up?" While someone might call him a fool for being shocked at utz''s appearance, only he knew how much importance such an event had.


    At first, Dant had thought that someone would be dying at this stage so that utz can take on the beast. Little did he knew that such a strategy would be renderedpletely useless in face of such a speedy beast.


    But when he found himself at death''s door, everything didn''t seem so simple anymore. He never thought that utz would keep his promise and save his life.


    But their was something he found much more unbelievable. utz not only saved him, but is now fighting the tooth and nail without any sacrifices being made for him.


    "Does it mean… Does it mean he is sparing her life?" Dant coulde to only one conclusion as to why utz would be entering the fray. ''If it is not for saving his wife what else could it be?'' He contemted. Dant mistook utz appearance for him showing pity on him and his wife. After all if no one dies at this stage, with Bret dying in the next stage, they will be able to leave the trial grounds safely.


    "Maybe he is not as scary as I initially thought," Dant said as tickles of salty water ran down his face. The fortuitous encounter he was waiting for, something that would save his family hade in front of him yet again. He was luckier than he had ever been. First utz had saved him and now he was saving his wife. How could he not feel indebted? He began feeling extremely grateful to the uninitiated utz.


    utz had no clue that he was being misunderstood in such a ridiculous fashion. After all the only reason he is fighting this beast is cause the old way won''t work and he already gave away his location when he threw the sword.


    "Thank you," he whispered under his breath. Even if he didn''t make sobbing sounds the tears won''t stop flowing.

    Bret and Verona watched as KLautz fought with the beast. ''Amazing'' was the only thing that they could say. Both of them were equally matched in speed. While the beast was most ferocious and scary as it can be, utz was cautious not to get hurt at all. He had only light injuries on him even after fighting for so long. He was dodging every attck that came its way while attacking only when he was most sure it would hit.


    Bret and Verona couldn''t even follow them with their eyes. Once again they were reminded as to why they should revere utz and fear him even.

    "Tch, it is not working!" utzined. The beast was much faster than he had initially predicted. He could barely dodge and even for that, he had to be on his toes at all times. He was getting fewer and fewer chances to attack.


    "Damn it, boost again!"

    utz agility got another +2.


    Little by little utz gained the edge over the beast after that boost. He couldn''t help but smile.


    "Nowe at me," He readied his sword.

    With a diagonal sh, he left a deep imprint on the beast''s back. Red blood tickled from the injury he imparted.


    "Roar!" the beast cried in pain. But it didn''t end there as the beast refused to give up. He pounced at utz as the battle continued. The beast wasn''t much stronger than those beasts utz fought in the previous stages. It had a low strength stat. But it was still annoying because of its speed.


    "It''s time to finish this," With the boost in his strength that came as a side effect, it didn''t take long for utz to give some major stabs to the beast. utz had been always aiming for the beast''s neck. With a low defence stat that would have been the end of it. But s, he never made his mark. But now with the beast being injured, it had slowed down considerably.


    utz unleashed an intense amount of killing intent which causes the beast to halt its charge.

    The beast''s leapt as it dodged utz''s supposed to be finishing blow.


    utz breathed heavily as his chest went up and down. His panting didn''t seem to cease after such an exhausting battle. Everyone thought that he deserved some rest.


    "Sh*t I can''t finish this. Looks like I have depleted my stamina."


    utz has been fighting non-stop ever since... ever since the boss battle began back at the safe zone. Dant''s group was better off as they had escaped even before the safe zone battle began. Coupled with such a hack and sh battle with this sabertooth in which he had to constantly dodge against the beast, his stamina had taken a severe blow.


    Because of this utz felt extremely famished. With no healer on his side, he could only rely on one thing.


    "Healing wave!" He said as he rubbed his ring.

    A holy yellowish light wrapped around utz as the light injuries he had on his body began to heal. His breathing calmed down as he puffed his chest. He was healed; his stamina was replenished back to the brim again.


    "Let''s see how you dodge my attacks now."


    utz lept at the beast. Somehow the beast sensed its impending death. It tried to run but s with the +4 stat boost that utz got after using Probationer twice, he was faster than the sabertooth.

    The beast neck was mercilessly shed separating the head from the torso. Blood gushed and sttered on utz face which died him in red.
