After hanging up the call with Mnie, Conrad looked at Malcolm with evident apprehension.
At this moment,
Malcolm’s eyes were dark and flickering with gloom.
Clearly, Malcolm had heard every word from the call with Mnie.
“Lord Malcolm!”
Malcolm’s demeanor was icy and perilous. With a cigarette between his fingers, he drew puff after puff.
Jade’s condition had reached a critical juncture, and apart from Bianca, they had no other leads or
updates.
It was obvious that things right now were…!
Meanwhile, Bianca drove straight to Versant Vi, where Zane’s car was parked. She mmed. the car
door shut upon arrival.
Upon entering, she found Zane looking like he had just woken up, clearly having spent the night at
home. As soon as he noticed Bianca, his expression softened,
“You’re back?”
“Yeah,” she replied.
“Have you had breakfast?”
“Not yet.” As Bianca shook her head, she naturally took a seat beside Zane.
The servants promptly served her, ying out an extensive breakfast spread. Bianca paused for a
moment, realizing that even in her absence, they had prepared dishes she favored.
Zane ate in silence.
Despite Zane’s stern demeanor, Bianca didn’t seem to harbor the same level of fear toward him as she
did with Malcolm.
In the past, no matter how fierce her confrontations with Malcolm became, she had always been afraid
of him deep down.
Indeed, after enduring two years of torment, she had developed an inherent fear of Malcolm. Yet, she
never allowed this fear to surface in his presence.
Every time Malcolm saw her, he couldn’t help but grit his teeth as their encounter always led to him on
the losing end.

Until now, the depth of Bianca’s resentment toward Malcolm was obvious. And Malcolm likely harbored
an equal amount of disdain toward her.
“How is she?” Zane asked nonchntly.
Bianca froze just as she was about to take a bite of her bread.
She then replied, “Not good.”
The news from Wexford undoubtedly had a profound impact on Natalie. Even Bianca would have likely
found it hard to bear such troubling information if it had happened to her..
Zane repeated, “Not good?”
At this moment, the gaze he directed toward Bianca deepened in intensity.
Taking a sip of her milk, Bianca considered the fragmented details Natalie had shared with her.
Cedric and Irwin approached Natalie because of a woman named ir. The decade–long rtionship
with Cedric and Irwin’s timely rescue every time Natalie had been in danger seemed to be linked to
ir.
“Do you know someone named ir Russell?” Bianca inquired, looking at Zane.
Having grown up in such aplex and intricate family, Zane might be privy to some of the covert
happenings among the elite families.
However, upon hearing the name ir, Zane’s brow furrowed.
Bianca paused, waiting for his response.
Why was he…?
After a moment, Zane finally said, “I’m not entirely sure.”
The uncertainty in his response made Bianca scrutinize him even more, searching for
of recognition or deceit in his eyes.
“What’s the matter?” Zane questioned, noticing her probing gaze.
Shaking her head, Bianca replied, “Nothing.”
“So, you mean Cedric and Irwin approached Natalie because of ir?” Zane asked.
