    Chapter 492 We’re Leaving Immediately

Clearly, they hadn’t anticipated things would escte to this point.

“His movements seemed fine. We just didn’t expect that Aspen would actually be in Wexford!”

    Lucas said.

    Indeed.

The information they received years ago was that Aspeny had left Wexford. Hence, as long as Casey

remained within Wexford, the situation shouldn’t have escted to this magnitude.

Since that was the case, Cedric and his people hadn’t paid much attention to Aspen’s whereabouts.

But who could have guessed that Aspen would return to Wexford after getting married? To make

matters worse, Casey discovered the only person rted to that incident in this recent

    situation.

    With a loud

    resolve.

    Natalie, his… Nat!

, Cedric mmed his fist against the car door, his eyes filled with chilling

    Cedric was getting anxious!

He had never imagined a day when things would spiral so out of control. As Casey had pointed. out,

ever since Natalie set foot in Wexford…

Cedric had this lingering feeling that things were spiraling out of control.

    And now, they truly had.

    “What now?” Lucas asked.

    “To Terra Manor!”

Terra Manor was where Irwin currently resided.

At Terra Manor, Natalie gazed at the gentle–looking man before her.

Her eyes dimmed, and her tone was far from pleasant. “I want to sleep.”

    She was genuinely exhausted.

    “Nat.”

    “Yes?”

    ???

“Why do you insist on investigating?”

Natalie raised an eyebrow, ncing at her silent phone before looking back at Irwin..

She rose to her feet and dered, “I need to make a call!”

“Natane!” Irwin’s voice grew stern once again.

    “Can you stop investigating, please?”

The already strained expression on Natalie’s face grew even colder upon hearing Irwin’s persistent

    inquiry.

Just then, her phone buzzed in her hand. When that happened, Irwin stiffened.

Rising swiftly, he reached her side and snatched the phone before she could even identify the caller.

“What are you doing?” Natalie eximed.

“These moments should be just ours,” Irwin replied.

“Give that back!” Natalie’s temper red instantly.

What had gotten into this man?!

“Shawn!” Irwin called out, summoning the butler, who promptly appeared. “Prepare for a trip. I’m taking

    my fiancee to Mount Elven.”

    Mount Elven?

That was a renowned cial retreat, popr for summer vacations but not among those from Wexford.

Wexford was known for its frequent rainfall and rtively cooler temperatures. Hence, the locals

    typically preferred warmer destinations.

“I’m not going,” Natalie said, her voice turning icy.

She approached to reim her phone, but Irwin raised his hand, and the phone continued to vibrate in

    his grip.

“Give it to me!” Natalie’s voice grew colder, her frustration evident.

Ignoring her tone, Irwin pressed on, “Prepare everything quickly. We’re leaving immediately!”

“Irwin!” Natalie’s tone grew more forceful.

She never agreed to go on a vacation with him!

Natalie noted Irwin’s exaggerated response. Being both sensitive and perceptive, she had felt the

weight of Cedric and Irwin’s reactions since she began investigating.

Was it something Casey discovered that had Irwin in such a panic?

Or perhaps Cedric was also involved?

“You know very well why I came to Wexford!” she dered firmly.

Given the circumstances, she wouldn’t leave Wexford, no matter what unfolded!
