Chapter 88 – Ears Behind the Door


    While Asia, Rias and I fucked like rabbits in the secret room of the ult Research Club, wepletely forgot about our lives, our friends and the reason for being there. But our friends didn''t forget, and after an hour of Asia using the teleportation, Koneko, who was swimming peacefully in the pool with her duck float, sighed with boredom.


    "I''m leaving..." she said after approaching the edge of the pool with her float.


    Akeno lifted his sunsses a little. "What? Where are you going?"


    "I''m going to see what''s taking them so long. I''m afraid something has happened."


    Akeno smiled out of the corner of his mouth and put his sunsses back on. "They must have continued their training somewhere else, or Buchou must be teaching them something else. You know how time-consuming magic training can be, let alone for two devils who used to be human."


    "Yes, I know. That''s why I''m going there. Maybe she needs some help."


    "All right, say hello for me." Akeno said and went back to rxing on the big buoy that moved with the small tremors in the water caused by the training between Xenovia and Kiba at the bottom of the pool.


    After drying off and putting on a blouse to cover her top, Koneko closed her eyes and the next moment, when she opened them, she was already in the middle of the meeting room of the ult Research Club.


    It was a weekend afternoon, so the ce was very quiet. Besides, nothing seemed out of ce and there was no one in the room.


    "Huh? Did they go somewhere else?"


    Koneko was about to give up and go back to the beach house, but when she closed her eyes, she heard a short noise from upstairs. It was the sound of footsteps. Her expression remained unchanged, but she decided to investigate.


    The second floor of the ult Research Club was less used, reserved for more private meetings or, as Koneko knew, for training and discussions that required discretion. The corridor in front of her was a bit darker. She narrowed her golden eyes, trying to catch any other sound that might reveal someone''s presence. Her feline instincts were alert.


    She walked normally until she reached the door at the end of the corridor. It was thergest door on the floor, solid and imposing. But what caught her attention was not the door itself, but the sounding from inside the room. At first, it was just a faint, almost indistinguishable murmur.


    Koneko frowned and tilted her head slightly to the side, trying to identify what she was hearing. As she moved her ear closer to the door, the whisper turned into something else... something that made her heart race slightly.

    It wasn''t hard to imagine what happened on the other side. Koneko was shocked.
