    "How about a home-cooked meal?"


    He seemed rather free. I nodded and agreed since we rarely had time to cook at home together.


    It was five o''clock in the afternoon. The weather had been unpleasant in Asherton, and it was


    drizzling. Hendrix did not want to go out. I wanted to get in touch with the contact given by

    I went to the bedroom and called the man. The phone rang several times before it was connected.


    "Hello!" A rough voice answered the phone.
