Chapter 1364
His forthrightness caught me off guard. I introduced myself to him as I sat down in front of them. As
I saw Nerissa blushing, I smiled as I said, "Aunt Nerissa... Hendrix and I have been busy, so we
haven''t been visiting you ofte. Are you mad?"
Nerissa was still a little embarrassed. She looked at me and said smilingly, "I knew what happened
to the Roberts Group. I reckoned he must be quite busy then. I understand that young people have
their own personal matters to attend to. As elders, we try our best not to burden you unnecessarily."
I nodded. I guessed she did not know what had happened to Anne. I beamed and said, "We should
meet when we get the time. You can bring along Mr. Milton too."
Nerissa nodded. She was still blushing faintly. Since I had already greeted her, I reckoned that I
should make a move. After all, I did not want to interrupt their date further.

Just as I wanted to leave, I saw Hendrix walking towards us and I was stunned. He came over as
quick as a sh.
"Hendrix''s here," Nerissa said as she saw Hendrix.
I got up and faced him. I asked, "Why are you here so soon?"
As he grabbed hold of my hand, he frowned. "Why is your hand cold?" Then, he cupped my hands
in his as he said, "This restaurant is just a stone’s throw from my office. Plus there''s no traffic jam.
So I got here quite quickly."
"Oh," I replied. Then, I leaned towards him and whispered, "I forgot to tell you that Aunt Nerissa is
here too..."
In the meantime, Jarred also got up to greet Hendrix. After exchanging pleasantries with Jarred,
Hendrix asked me, "Aren''t you here with Yana?"
I nodded. Then, we said goodbye to Nerissa and made our way back to Yana''s table. It just so
happened that the waiters were serving our dishes.
When she saw us, Yana smiled and said, "I was just about to call you over!" After she introduced
Ethan to Hendrix, we sat down to dine.
Hendrix and Ethan were so different in terms of their personality. While Hendrix was reserved and
aloof, Ethan was simple-minded. Hence, they had nothing much to talk to each other about. In
contrast, Yana and I chatted endlessly.
Hendrix peeled some shrimp for me, but I did not want to eat it. Just as I was about to pass the
shrimp to Yana, she looked at me and said, "Arianna, I''m envious of you at times. You and Mr.
Roberts are so easygoing as a couple... It''s really nice."
I grinned. As I saw Ethan feeding Yana some shrimp, I said, "I’m envious of you too. Look at how
gentle and attentive he is to you. You must cherish his love."
She nodded earnestly and said, "Of course I will. Hendrix and you should cherish each other too."
We left after the meal. It waste in the night when we arrived at the vi.
Hendrix was a little tired. As I looked at his drowsy face, I held back from rifying my doubts. After
I took my shower, he hugged me and said hoarsely, "Yana''s getting married. Why didn''t your brother
stop her?"
I was a little surprised to find him asking about this. I shook my head and replied, "I''ve got no idea.
He told me that he''d be marrying Eunice soon. I don''t know what his thoughts really are..."
At this moment, I was a little doubtful. I looked at him sideways and asked, "Hendrix, how would you
feel if I were to marry someone else?"
