Chapter 1105
The doctor wrote a prescription and said, "If you''re not allergic to crab or cheese individually, then it
might''ve been because they were both taken into your body at the same time. It''s also possible that
it was something of those foods that caused your allergic reaction. If you need it, I can help you
check the cause."

I nodded. "Alright, please do!" It would probably save me from worrying too much next time, just in
case I ate the same thing without realizing it again.
Due to the fact that we were in the city, the hospital was flooded with arge number of people, and
the wards were full. I could only sit by the corridors to get an IV drip and to check the cause of my
allergy. The nurse retrieved some blood from me, hung the IV drip there, and left.
There were quite a few wards in the corridor. It waste at night, and many other sick patients had
already fallen asleep.
I couldn''t sleep, so I closed my eyes and pretended to rest. Naomi was busy covering the medical
expenses. Sebastian was searching for a parking space.
Looking for a parking space in the city was always so troublesome.
I took a nap for a while, and heard a noise from the corridor. I opened my eyes and saw that it came
from a male doctor in a white coat.
When he saw me, he asked, "Did I wake you up?"
I shook my head and said, "No, I wasn''t even sleeping!" I looked at the IV fluid I was on instinctively.
It was almost finished, and I saw the syringe in his hand.
I was dumbstruck and asked, "Are you changing the fluid for me?"
He shook his head, held the IV drip, and said, "Just topping up!"
I watched as the needle in his hand was inserted into the bottle and the liquid in the needle was
pushed into the bottle.
I asked, doubtful, "Isn''t the fluid supposed to be inserted separately?" Why was the hospital
suddenly using syringes?
He adjusted the speed of the IV fluid, and sped up the infusion process. He looked at me and said,
"It''s just a normal saline drip. The concentration of the liquid just now was too high, that''s why I
added something in. It won''t affect you!"
I didn''t have much medical knowledge, but there was something suspicious about his actions.
However, I couldn''t figure out exactly what was bugging me.
I stayed quiet and just allowed him to do what he had to in silence.
He went to change the medication for other patients, looking skilled and natural doing so, and I had
to dispel my doubts. I closed my eyes and rested.
However, I gradually felt that something was off. My eyelids were getting heavier, and I couldn''t
open my eyes.
Some doubts started rising in my heart, I tried hard to press my thumb. I sobered up a little and tried
to open my eyes.
I suddenly saw the doctor from earlier standing right in front of me, and I had a bad feeling.
I raised my hand to push him away, but he suddenly held me up, and he was almost carrying my
whole body as he walked towards the corridor.
I no longer had any time to think about it. There was only one thought in my mind, and it was that I
must not fall asleep.
I put the tip of my tongue against my teeth and bit onto it hard. The pain stimted my nerves, and I
sobered up a little. At the same time, he was already bringing me towards the elevator.
Realizing that he intended to take me away, I tried to struggle, but I had no strength at all. I wanted
to call out for help, but I couldn''t utter a single word.
I heard the sound of the elevator opening, and I was taken into the elevator by the man. I could see
him pressing a button, but I failed to see which specific button he had chosen.
I could vaguely see that the red light blinking was the lowest button, so he must''ve chosen the
underground garage.
