Chapter 736
| gave the door a few light knocks.
Hendrix looked sideways and saw me standing outside the door. He raised his eyebrows slightly, and there was no trace of
malice on his face. He spoke with a faint smile, "What delicious food have you made?"
| smiled and walked into the study, ced the noodles on the table, and wiped the coffee from the desk for him as if nothing
happened.
| took the napkin in his hands and threw it away. "Just some noodles. It''s my first time making this. Try it."
He smiled gently as if everything that happened was just an interlude. He sat at the table and ate quietly.
| cleaned up the mess on the table for him and asked, "How is Aunt Nerissa doingtely?"
Nerissa was Irvin''s stepmother. To some extent, Hendrix and Irvin could even be considered cousins.
He replied as he chewed, "She''s fine!"
A file on the table caught my attention. It was a proposal to acquire Granger Group dated two years ago.
Why did he wait until now to sign the contract?
The contract was stained with ink, and | took a tissue to wipe it.
"It''s no use!" His deep voice sounded from behind me. "Ink is difficult to clean up, not to mention if it''s on paper."
| pursed my lips and ced the documents down without saying anything.
Seeing that he had finished all the noodles in the bowl, | smiled and asked, "How was it?"
He nodded. "Very vorful." He put his arm around me and kissed my forehead. "Yana should be discharged soon. Let''s go see
her tomorrow."
He rarely remembered such trivial matters, so | nodded and smiled, "Sure, let''s go together."
| took a slight pause and decided to test the waters. | asked, "Hendrix, let''s make an appointment to remove the ring, okay?”
He pursed his lips slightly, "Hmm?"
“Let bygones be bygones, right?" | looked up at his face while saying. "Anne is a Saunders. | love her, and so do you. With
Josiah visiting her, it just means that she''ll have one more person to dote on her. It is a good thing.”
After a moment of hesitation, his eyes fell on me, "You agreed to let Josiah see Anne?"
| nodded. "He''s Anne''s father, after all. | don''t have the right to stop him. What''s more, | want a child of my own as well.”
His body went evidently stiff for a bit. He then curled his lips into a smile and agreed.
It looked like we were on the same page.
Finally, we had something to be happy about.
As for the other Irvin- rted matter, perhaps it was best for me to stay out of it.
| cleaned up the utensils and went downstairs.
Anne slept in for the whole day, so she was no longer sleepy. She was in the living room ying with Snowball.
It was always good to have a pet at home. It could keep childrenpany.
Hendrix was still as busy as ever;
perhaps even busier n than Gstiel.

She was furious,
“Arianna, | thought you were

| underestimated you! You''re no different from
Hendrix, using such despicable acts to bring him down."
