Chapter 728
“Arianna, why don''t youe with me to the hotel to change? I''m not a fan of moving around with these clothes," Freya
whispered into my ear.
She seemed to have finished her toast, so she was ready to change. | nodded. It was inconvenient for me too to move about in
this getup.
After notifying the few elders, | went upstairs with Freya. | guess Freya saw that | looked a little absent-minded in the elevator.
She let out a chuckle. "What are you thinking about?"
I shook my head, "Nothing!"
We entered the hotel room and got changed. She was so tired that sheid on the bed andined, "I swear I''ll only get
married once in my life. This is too tiring.”
| pursed my lips and looked down at my phone absent-mindedly.
It was only until Freya called out to me several times that | came back to my senses. | looked at her in confusion and asked,
“What''s wrong?"
She frowned, "I should be the one asking you what''s wrong. You''ve been out of it since the elevator ride. What''s on your mind?"
"Can you do me a favor?" | asked her.
"What is it?”
“My grandmother left me a sandalwood box before she passed on. At the time, | left it with Master Roberts andter on, before
he passed on, he handed the box to me. But I didn’t keep an eye on it, and Hendrix lost it. | figured the box wasn''t lost, but it''s
with Valerie. And | guess Valerie most likely admitted her mistakes because of this box. Can you help me look for it in the Moore
Family, or ask Valerie whether the box is still with her?"
She looked at me and hesitated for a moment, "Why are you suddenly thinking about that box?"
"| just suddenly remembered." It was best for Freya not to know about it just yet.
She didn''t force me to talk when she saw that | had fallen silent. She only said, "Alright. I''ll go to the Moore Family house to look
for it.”
| got up and thanked her after she agreed. It was gettingte.
“Anne''s still at the vi. I''ve got to head back."
Hendrix was not around when | came downstairs. | found a ce to sit and was getting ready to leave when he returned.
The man''s figure was slender and tall, a particrly eye- catching sight amongst the crowd.
| waved in his direction, got up and walked up to him. Before | could speak, he said, "Have you eaten anything yet?"
| forgot to. Freya had brought me upstairs before | could start eating.
"I''m not hungry!" After a pause, | wanted to suggest that we head home.
Unexpectedly, he took me back to the table and brought a lot of food over for me.
Someone came up for a toast. | had to drive hometer, so | could not help asking, "Can | drink if | drive?"
He gulped down the wine in his ss and said in a muted voice, "We have a driver!"
Then, he drank all of it without any hesitation.
| lowered my eyes and ate the food on the te. To be honest, my appetite was long gone.
Noticing that | was staring nkly at the dishes on my te, he asked, "Aren''t you hungry?"
| nodded, thought for a moment, and said, "Freya gave me some candies and said that | should bring them back for Anne."
He nodded. "Yes. Children can''t eat too much. It''s not good if they do."

"Yes, she''s well!" Someone came up to propose a toast to him. He responded with a faint smile and downed it.

| reached out for his hand. The man''s fingers were long and slender, but his knuckles felt slightly cold.
He was a little surprised at my touch, but he smiled and said, "Don''t worry."
There was a strong stench of alcohol as he spoke. He had too much to drink.
