Chapter 661
He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Nothing. | just feel that you can be indecisive at times. Some people are just too
loathsome, so much so that they should not exist in the first ce."
“Are you responsible for what happened to Sierra?" | uttered the words that had been gnawing at the back of my mind.
Stubbing out the cigarette butt, he said nonchntly, "She asked for it!"
"Irvin!" My body stiffened as if being frozen in a block of ice.
How did he be this person?
He said, looking seemingly unperturbed, "Her existence is worthless. To continue to live is to be a burden to others."This content is ? N?velDrama.Org.
|nded a p square across his face. My palm felt numb from the pain.
The man got out of the car with lightning speed and stood before me to stop me from harming Irvin.
Irvin stared at me as the blood spilt from the corner of his lip. He wiped the bloodstain off of his lip, looking undignified and
ungentlemanly.
Then, he raised his eyebrows slyly towards me and asked, "Feeling sorry for her? Or were you disappointed with me?"
| breathed deeply while taking a few steps backward. "Irvin, you''d better not cross the line," | spat.
He pursed his lips and shed a cold smile nonchntly. "And where''s Hendrix Roberts'' line? Do you really think he''s that gentle
and tolerant? Have you ever seen how he forced hispetitors to a corner?"
He bent down and inched closer to me. In a muted voice coupled with a dismal tone, he muttered, "He''s way more insidious than
lam. Arianna, there''s always more to someone than meets the eye."
"Enough!" | yelled into the air, "It''s gettingte. | have to leave now."
While | was scurrying off, | felt pangs of ache in my heart from all the feelings | had bottled up.
Fortunately, he did not trail after me. | heaved a sigh of relief. How could someone turn into this?
When | returned to the vi, Hendrix was not around. | curled up in a nket, feeling chilly.
Hendrix called this afternoon, saying that he was going on a business trip. He had been swamped with work recently, so much
so that his hectic schedule was up to his neck. At times, he even had to work until the wee hours of the morning at home.
| wasn''t bored knowing that he was busy and that | had personal matters to attend.
Nheless, some things still came as a surprise.
| was supposed to go to Jarold University for a lecture the next day. When | woke up, | caught sight of a dense crowd converging
on the ground floor of the building.
The reporters and media were unaware of this property that Hendrix owned as he was discreet about it. There was only a
handful of people who knew about it.
But with the crowd suddenly appearing like this, it was obvious that someone had leaked the news.
Most of the time, the reporters would get in touch with me only when they knew something newsworthy. | picked up my phone to
call Hendrix.
When | turned my phone on, a news notification popped up on screen. It was about a photo of me meeting Irvin a day ago.

| hung up, went downstairs and found that our food was well-stocked. It would not be an issue even if the crowd kept me here for
a few days.
