Chapter 617
I nodded and shook hands with her. With a small smile, I said, "I''m his ex-wife, Arianna. Nice to meet
you, Miss Sierra."
She was startled for a moment before saying, "Ex-wife? You and Mr. Roberts are divorced?"
This is property ? N?velDrama.Org.
I nodded, "It''s been four years."
Sierra seemed to be surprised, but she was an actress after all. She controlled her facial expressions
very well. She smiled, "You both can go ahead. I''ll go and see my friend first."
Hendrix didn''t say a word but just nodded his head indifferently.
I just smiled, not saying anything.
After Sierra was at a distance, I felt Hendrix staring at me. Scared of that look on his face, I couldn''t
help but say, "If you keep looking at me like this, I''m afraid you''ll spoil the food."
He chuckled and elegantly cut the steak brought by the waiter into pieces and exchanged them for my
untouched steak.
I never liked to cut steak as I was clumsy in doing so. In the past, Monique mentioned that it felt like
dissecting a body when cutting a steak.
Half the reason why people liked to use knives and forks was that, for a long time, they basically ate
raw food, so they only ate as they cut.
I didn''t verify that conclusion of Monique''s, but I more or less had this thought in my mind.
Sierra was sitting not too far away. From her position, she could clearly see where Hendrix and I were.
"Drink some juice first!" Hendrix said as he brought the ss of juice to my mouth.
I was forced to drink it and couldn''t help butugh. Most of his actions were intentional.
"I''ll do it myself. You don''t have to be so deliberate!" It was not a lie. With Sierra''s beautiful eyes looking
at me from such a distance, I felt somewhat ufortable.
"Since we''re in a rtionship, it''s better to be closer." He was indeed doing it on purpose.
I sighed. He was getting back at me because I introduced myself as his ex-wife!
Looking at the piece of steak brought to the corner of my mouth, I felt a little helpless. "I really can do it
by myself."
He raised his eyebrows. "I like to feed you."
It looked like he was treating me like a pig.
In the car after we left the restaurant, I smiled.
"When I was in a bar in Hovell one day, a young man named Culver came to me. Thinking I was Sierra,
he confessed to me and left me a message."
I never cared about that. However, after being told how simr we are a few times, it''s hard not to be
suspicious.
Now that I''d looked at Sierra carefully, she truly looked simr to me. The features on her face were
very simr to mine, especially her nose.
Hendrix started the car. Curling his lips, he said, "Many simr looking people in this world would try
their best to imitate you. However, things like temperament and charm can''t be imitated. No matter how
simr they look, it''s still not you."
I smiled and didn''t say anything else.
After a busy day, I would have been tired. As such, I fell asleep in the car. When I woke up, I saw him
parking the car under a vi.
I opened my mouth, still feeling sleepy, "Where are we?"
"It''s our home!" He said as he leaned over to unfasten my seat belt.
I moved my eyes away from him subconsciously and was kissed by him all of a sudden. The kiss was
fierce and persistent.
I found my voice after a long while, "Anne is still in Bronzy Condo. I have to go back!"
I frowned. "We are divorced."
He replied in a hoarse voice, "I didn''t sign the papers."
Inside the vi, almost everything was the same as before. When I entered the vi, I said, "I can walk
by myself!"
It felt inappropriate to be held this way.
