I was startled. When I looked down at the two eggs in my hands, I was fuming in rage.
I nced at Hendrix and roared, "Hendrix, you have such a filthy mind!" He spoke all kinds of
nonsense.
He cracked a smile, "Oh?"
I didn''t want to spend another second entertaining him.
Seeing that I was ignoring him, he suddenly became serious. He set his eyes on me and asked, "Why
don''t you want to go to the hospital?"
"I won''t be able to get cured even if I go!" I rebutted. I had been to the hospital before and was only told
to take some medicine for my illness. The psychologist said that I didn''t have to do anything else other
than chat and listen to his advice.
He lowered his gaze and didn''t say anything. The car arrived at the Bronzy Residence, and stopped
right below the unit building.
He got out of the car and he glimpsed at me. Then, he curled his lips and asked, "Shall I carry you?"
I shook my head and got out of the car myself. After that, I walked into the unit building.
As he had called Ian on the phone in advance, Anne''s belongings were all packed up and ready to go.
When he saw Hendrix and Iing in, he puckered his lips andmented, "She may sleepte
these couple of days. It''s a new environment for her, so she''ll need some time to get used to it."
I nodded and asked, "Where''s Anne?"
"She''s in her room. Sawyer is feeding her powdered milk," Ian responded.
I quickly went into Anne''s bedroom and saw Sawyer wearing a ck suit and looking very dashing. It
seemed that he was ready to go to work.
When he noticed me, he said, "Once she''s full, she won''t cryter."
I nodded, "Let me!" I took the milk bottle from his hand and nced at him. "Go check what else is left."
He nodded. When he went out, I paused and said to him, "Please shut the door!"
He knitted his brows and asked, "What''s the matter?"
Before I could answer, Hendrix came in. He stared at Sawyer and replied, "She is going to breastfeed
her. Are you nning to watch?"
I fell silent.
Sawyer blushed and immediately went out. On the other hand, Ian was surprised when he heard that.
"You''ve only taken the meds twice and it''s working already? Didn''t the doctor say that you need to
massage and..."

When he saw how Hendrix was ring at him, he finally got the memo and stopped talking.
"Godd*mn! This is a surprise." After speaking, Ian closed the door and left.
I was at a loss of words.
I couldn''t help but raise my head to nce at Hendrix. What an annoying man! My face was now hot
with embarrassment because of him.
"Get out of here!"
He puckered his lips, "I''ll stay by your side."
I red at him, "Get out!"
He ignored me and just sat at the small balcony. He began to surf the web on his phone.
This man was unbelievable.
He was really shameless.
I paid him no attention, then turned my back to him as I carried Annie. I had made sure to dress
casually andfortable before going out this morning.
I initially thought that Anne would be too young to know how to feed on breastmilk. However, this was
just me overthinking as the little fellow seemed to be extremely proactive in drinking. I didn''t have to
worry about her as she learnt it all on her own.
After feeding her for a while, Hendrix suddenly came to stand beside me. His tall and slender figure left
a shadow on me.
I looked up and saw him staring down at me. I subconsciously turned my back away to avoid him. If
Anne wasn''t here, I would''ve dropped a bomb of scolding on him already.
Nevertheless, I suppressed my anger and told him, "Hendrix, stop being shameless, okay?"
He said coldly, "Can''t I take a look at my wife?
It was impossible to talk to him.
After Anne finished drinking, Hendrix came out of the room with Anne in his arms. Ian tightened his lips
and peered at him. Then, he snorted, "Mr. Roberts, you look half-paralyzed when you carry the baby."
