"Well, just answer my questions," James said, his own nervousness showing as he gently touched
her face. "Do you like spending time with me?"
Esther wasn''t going to lie about her feelings. "Yes."
"Do you like that I spend so much time with you?"
"Yes." She felt incredibly safe with James, as if he could solve any problem she faced.
"And what if I spent time with another girl?" James asked, watching as Esther frowned at the
