Maja was so mad, she was babbling. She wasn’t one to swear, so she attacked him with her words
instead.
Jan put Maja down on the couch Inside the house. Hearing her call him a heartbreaker, he lost his
cool,
“Are you talking about me?”
Maja’s face was flushed with anger, her chest heaving. As soon as he put her down, she scooted
away, upying the far end of the couch.
“The day I returned, you got me drunk and took me to bed. You took my first kiss, my first time, and
now you’re calling me a heartbreaker?”
