The cold wind cooled her face a bit, making her feel much better.
Wasn doing this on purpose?
Purposely making her feel troubled, then getting down to work himself.
Was he getting back at her for ignoring him while she was busy working just now?
She frowned and couldn’t help but look at him.
But his expression was serious as if there was really an emergency at work.
Maja was a little depressed so she lowered her head, trying to focus on her work, but she kept looking
at his hands.
She likedn’s hands, and they were even better than the best hand models.

To be precise, every part ofn was good–looking. His face, his figure, and even the most private parts
were perfect.
He did have the charm to attract women, but she didn’t want to be his ything.
She suppressed the restlessness in her heart. The car had already stopped in front of Raymond
Mansion amidst the sound of his keyboard tapping.
A servant came to open the door. Maja got off the car first, andn followed her.

As soon as the door opened, she saw Grandpa leaning on a cane, standing at the entrance of living
room door.
“Grandpa Holden.”
She called out obediently, remembering that she hadn’t bring a gift. She was about to say that she
would make it upter when she sawn let the servant take out a gift from the trunk.
He even said to Grandpa:
“Grandpa, this is what we prepared for you.”
He almost said, ‘This is what Maja and I prepared for you!, he thought if he called them separately, it
might sound like there was some distance between the two of them.
To avoid embarrassment, he directly used ‘we‘. And he knew that Maja was busy with work and must
have forgotten about the gift.
A trace of surprise shed across Maja’s face, and she didn’t expect him to prepare the gift in advance,
which eased her embarrassment.
Holden watched as his gifts were being moved into the old house box by box. He sighed, if these two
had gotten along in the first ce, maybe he would have a great–grandson by now.
He medn with a nce: it’s all this guy’s fault!

The words ‘couldn’t get new business‘ hitn like a ton of bricks.
Why couldn’t the Pennyfeather family get new business? It was all his fault.
Holden’s face was filled with satisfaction, and he took her hand, “You can do anything well, just like.”
He wanted to say just like Eric, but knowingn would mind, he changed the subject, “Just like other
people’s children, you can paint so well and manage thepany so well. Maja, you’re really good.”
Maja was a little embarrassed by his praise, “Grandpa Holden, I’m still learning how to run apany,
just reading books and taking public courses from business people in Listina.”
“You’re already doing very well.”
Holden really felt regret. He liked Maja from the start because she was always determined and seldom
But when he looked at his grandson sitting silently on the side, he was very displeased.
“What hasn been up to recently?”
“Work”
The wound on his back had notpletely healed, and it hurt a little when he moved.
“Of course, I know you’re busy with work, but you’re busy all the time and actually don’t achieve
anything. You just make yourself look like a loner.”
Hen’s face changed immediately, thinking: Can’t he say something nice in front of Maja?
