“You wouldn’t get mad even the Raymonds treated you like this?”
Beck wasn’t exactly clear about her rtionship with the Raymond family. However, after he heard
Selena giving her a piece of her mind, he got some idea. The whole thing seemed ridiculous to him.
On one hand,n and Penny were all tangled up, but on the other hand, he had just let her get bullied

Beck couldn’t help but sit at the edge of the bed, taking the bowl from her and cing it on the bedside

Beck patted her head, “Penny, I don’t have any ulterior motives.”
He was worried that she would misunderstand his kindness, thinking that he saved her because he had

Maja knew that he wasn’t lying. A person’s eyes couldn’t lie.
Beck had a servant bring some food, gave her some tissues, advising, “Take care of yourself once
you’re done letting it all out. You’ve lost weight.”
Maja took the te, but even this simple action was hard for her to pull off.

“Penny, I think you can get through these hardships.”
