    “Off you go. You can knock off early today.”

    asked me to tell you to decorate Greenfield Gardens. Christmas is next week.”

    Crystalbrook Valley. Carol was going back to the Miller family for the holidays.


    She realized that she had been deliberately ignoring this problem.


    But now thatn had asked her to decorate Greenfield Gardens, she felt a warmth in her heart. At least


    she would have something to do on Christmas. No wonder everyone in thepany seemed so


    happy. The holidays wereing, and everyone was busy preparing gifts.

    After hanging up, she stared out the window at the falling snow, unable to remember thest time she


    had a meaningful Christmas.


    When her father was alive, going home for Christmas meant enduring Cristina Perkins‘ sneers, so she


    always found an excuse to stay at school. After starting work, she lied about being too busy to go


    home. She didn’t want to see other families‘ harmony and happiness. She always felt like an outsider.


    She hadn’t prepared gifts for many years and didn’t know what to get.


    She looked up some ideas online and then drove to the mall. After much deliberation, she picked out a


    Christmas wreath.


    She was about to pay but suddenly thought thatn might not like it for the beautiful vi.
