    Cristina and Carter froze upon hearing the noise, Carter’s eyes turning icy cold.


    Cristina, scared out of her wits, quickly wrapped herself in the bedsheet and jumped out of bed.

    Cristina was terrified, her legs wobbly. She clung onto Carter, her hand trembling. “What do we do

    Carter was pulling on his pants, calmly putting on his sses that were lying nearby.


    “So, he can’t wake up again.”
