Chapter 211
Sofia’s POV
It wasn’t a surprise that one thing ended up leading to another and another until Luca had ended up
lifting me up into his arms. I gotpletely lost in the kiss and the way he was squeezing and touching
my body until the song came to an end. I stared up at him, blushing a little after we had broken out of
the kiss. I nced down at his lips and noticed how swollen it looked, and I was very sure my lips were
also as picked at the moment. I wiggled out of his arms and was d he released his hold on me
without any fuss or arguments. I dragged my fingers into my hair for a few moments before mining
towards one part of the wall where there wererge wallpapers pasted against the walls.
A startled breath slipped out of my lips as I moved closer to the wall and noticed who it was that was in
those wallpapers. The one I was directly standing right in front of, was that of Luca and another man. I
craned my head a little as I stared at the picture pointedly. I’d say from just staring at this particr
picture, that Luca had to be five years younger than he was at the moment, because if I was being
honest, Luca still looked like he was in his mid twenties at the moment.
I turned my head around to notice Luca staring at me intently, while still standing in the slot where I had
left him at. I pointed at the wallpaper on the wall before starting to speak.
“When was this?” I said to him and watched as his lips thinned for a moment before he started to reply.
“I think eight or nine years ago.” He replied and I was honestly surprised by his response, it meant one
thing and it was that this man right here never ages. I dragged my teeth over my lip before turning my
head to stare at the wallpaper beside this current one, and it was once again Luca and that same boy.
They looked even younger in this one.
After looking at over five wallpapers on the wall, I was convinced that there was something tying Luca
to this particr man. After pondering on it for long moments, I came to the startling conclusion that
this other guy was probably the guy that had been ying some kind of instrument along with Luca, in
the recording which he had inserted into the usb and Bluetooth yer, some time ago.
I nced behind me to see Luca no longer in that particr spot, and was instead standing before the
piano.
“Luca?” I called out and he turned his head around to stare at me instantly.
“Yea, bunny?” He called out after turning his head around to stare at me. I pointed at all the wallpapers
without bothering to turn my head around once again, with my gaze still focused on his face, before I
started to speak.
“Who’s this person?” I asked and watched as his face fell instantly. It wasn’t like his face fell
dramatically, but after watching him for a while now, and mastering how his face works most of the
time, I was able to pick out the little and barely noticeable expressions on his face after spending a lot
of time ogling his handsome face.
“Oh, that.” He finally said after a moment and I watched as he nced down at his hand, I followed his
gaze to see him lightly gazing his fingers against the ss protector over the piano.
“Is he the same person who recorded that song with you?” I asked and at the same time pointed at the
table to where the Bluetooth yer was still sitting.
Luca nodded his head a little before turning his head around to stare at me, and I couldn’t miss theck
of spirit around his face at that very moment.
“Yeah, he’s the same person.” He finally replied, proving my thoughts and assumptions right
effortlessly.
“Who is he though?” I continued, pressing in on him and I watched as he shook his head in order to get
some of the curls out of his face.
“He’s my brother.” Luca replied after a few more moments had passed and my mouth fell open
instantly.
I had no idea of what to say or do in that particr moment and so I tried to skip my mouth shut after a
few seconds had passed and his reply hadpletely sunk into my head. Never in my wildest dream
and imaginations would I have imagined that Luca has a little brother.
I started to walk towards him and finally paused beside him, keeping a little distance between us
because I didn’t want to make him feel overwhelmed in any way. I breathed out a small sigh and shifted
my weight from foot to foot before finally starting to speak.
“I- I had no idea.” I was confused after a few moments, my voiceing out sincere and true as I lifted
my head up to stare at his face.

“It wasn’t all that publicalized.” He replied after a few moments with a little shrug. It was really obvious
at this very moment that something was very off with how Luca was feeling at this very moment, but I
had little no no idea of what it found be that I was supposed to say at this very moment.
“Where is he now though?” I asked after so much hesitation. I had been wary and skeptical about
bringing this particr question up because I was scared that the reply I was going to be getting was
going to be a sad one, which would automatically make him sad and more withdrawn.
“Not here…. he’s not here.” Luca replied after a few nine moments and I felt my breath caught in my
throat.
He’s dead? He passed away? Was that why this particr room meant a whole lot to him?
I could feel my eyes start to sting for this person that I’ve never jet in my entire life. Come to think of it,
if he was alive, he’d have most definitely attended his elder brother''s wedding, which was what made
me let out a small sob without even realizing it. I pped my hand over my mouth in the next second
as my eyes flew wide open, but Luca had already heard it and was already turning his head around to
stare down at me before I could blink.
“Bunny? What’s wrong?” He asked instantly as he turned his whole body around and reached down to
old e his hand on my head in a firm way that made me want to crawl beneath his big body and burrow
in there in that particr moment, I blinked back tears furiously and lifted my hands up to mop my
cheeks in the next second.
His other hand came around to settle on my face when I didn’t respond to him, and he was lifting my
face up to make me steer up into his face more clearly.
“Bunny?” He called out once again and I sniffed once before starting to speak.
“I’m so sorry for bringing your brother up, I had no idea he was no more, I was just curious, I guess?
Forgive me please.” I whispered to him in a voice I was hoping would make him see and hear how I
genuinely meant all what I had just said to him a few moments ago.
Luca didn’t say anything after that and remained silent. He didn’t take his hand off my head nor did he
stop softly caressing my cheek slowly, and I felt empire bad as the moment passed by, I couldn’t take it
anymore and couldn’t bare to keep staring into his eyes, and I allowed my eyes to slowly slide close
shut in the next second.
“Bunny?” He called oit after some time and I wouldn’t budge, and had only sniffed back a little tears.
“Look at me.” He called out and I felt my eyes blink open in the next instant to stare up at him, and I
was surprised to see that he wasn’t mad or furious like I had thought he was going to be. I dug my
teeth into my lowttt lips and moved my weight from foot to foot as I waited for him to start to speak.
“Why were you crying?” He asked in a low voice and I blinked up at him at first before starting to reply.
He ced his thumb against my lips before I could even start to speak and I swallowed the words
down instantly, staring into his grey eyes and feeling my legs almost start to wobble a little from the
intensity of his gaze.
“There’s no reason to shed tears, alright?” He called out in a low voice and pressed his thumb against
my lips when I made to speak and once again, I swallowed the words down instantly and only blinked
once at him.
