Chapter 205
Sofia’s POV
Ryan turned towards me after a few moments and held the teddy out to me before starting to speak,
with his eyes darting around over everywhere at once.
“Here’s your teddy, I have to go exchange a few words with some of the guards.” He said and I reached
up and I epted the teddy from him, bringing it to rest agdinst my front and I watched as he walked
away from me, leaving me to myself. I stared around the whole ce, trailing over the whole ce and
marveling at how the whole ce was extremely wide. I mean, I already figured that thispound
was going to be really wide, but I didn’t expect the back of the house to be this wide. The walls were
very high and there was a lot of barbed wire over all the tops of tne walls, in order to keep outsiders
out.
I dug my teeth into my lower lips and as my eyes trailed forward to settle on the faint image of Ryan
standing before a bunch of guards, and it felt like he was giving them a few orders. Seems like he was
a higher ranked guard than I expected. I had used to think he was a low ranked one since his only job
was to watch over me, but at this point, I was starting to rethink the whole thing in my head at this very
moment.
I puffed out a breath and felt the afternoon breeze blow at my hair, making me feel less sweaty and
more sweaty at the same time. I could feel sweat gather at my forehead and start to slide down my
face, with the ones gathering at the back of my neck sliding down into my cloth. I pushed my race a
little into the fun of the teddy in my arms, this toy was really heavier than I thought and at this point, my
arm was starting to hurt from the weight of it. I moved my weight from foot to foot as I puffed out a slow
breath. I couldn’t almost nrkieve this but at this point, with how my insides was currently feelimg like it
was on fire, I couldn’t wait to go back inside and get stiffened up with the air conditioner.
I also couldn’t wait to unpack my books. It almost feels unreal, that he had taken his time out to order
me a bunch of books, and he hadn''t just ordered a dozen for me or two, he hadpletely gone out
and bought me a lot of cartons of them… At this point, I was getting more impatient to see him tonight
when he’d return from the office tonight. I couldn’t wait to thank him, even though I wasn’t sure how it
was that I was going to use in thanking him.
He was going out of his way to spend so much on me, plus the amount of money he spentst night at
the restaurant. I had no idea of the exact amount of the whole thing we we spent at the restaurant was,
but I wasn’t dumb, and I knew a really cost thing when I see one, and the restaurant which we had both
visitedst night, had most definitely cost a whole lot.
I huffed out a small breath and moved sideways seeing as my legs had suddenly started to hurt, thanks
to the whole working I had donest night in those heels, now, I most definitely wasn’t supposed to be
standing here beneath the sun, but thanks to my intense curiosity, that was the only reason as to why I
was here at the moment. I leaned against the cool wall and was surprised because I had been
expecting it to be hot, a little bit hot at least. I lifted the teddy bear and pushed my face into the soft fun.
It wasn’t up to aplete hour since I got it, and I was already feeling like I was extremely obsessed
with it.
I never had any or this when I was growing up, my mother never saw stuff like this as necessary which
exins my not ever having it in my entire life. Luca and I never actually ever talked about stuffed
teddies, he just probably just decided to get it for me because he felt it would feel really nice for me.
And of course he was right, he had most definitely been right because I had fallen in lobe it the moment
I locked my eyes with it.
It was blue and white in color, and very pretty and I couldn’t wait to snuggle with itter today. Perhaps I
could snuggle into it each time I was reading a book, it would make me feel extrafortable if I was
snuggling into it and reading one of my favorite authors. I breathed out a small sigh and breathed in the
scent of the teddy, and the new scent wafted into my nose almost immediately, making me bury myContentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDra/ma.O(r)g!
nose into the fun in the next second. I had my face smothered into the fun of the teddy when Ryan had
returned and I hadn’t noticed until he had cleared his throat a couple of times, and I had snapped my
head up faster than a shooting star that I had felt my throat crack a little.,. And color was flooding into
my cheeks the next moment, and I most definitely met his eyes after this very embarrassing moment.
There was just something with me and brought in really embarrassing moments around Ryan almost
each time we were around each other. I had no idea of what to make of it, all I was sure about was that
I was quiet tire of it and wished I wouldn’t be getting to make a fool of myself anymore before him.
“The guards are already done with the garden, it’s pretty safe for now.” He said and I panted a little as I
pushed myself away from the wall that I had been leaning on previously.
“We just wouldn’t spend really long right there,” He continued almost immediately and I nodded absent
mindedly, I most definitely didn’t n to spend way too much time there as well, seeing as the sun was
disagreeing with me big time on that due to how harsh it was for now. It wasn’t a huge deal, now that I
was sure that there was a garden located here, once I’ve gone to check it and if I end up liking it, I’d

felt tired at the moment,
“Is it the teddy? Let me hold it for you once again.” Ryan continued to speak and I sighed gratefully
when he took the teddy out of my arm. I love it so much already and I couldn’t wait to snuggle with it,
but it really was heavy and its weight had made my arms almost turn numb as it is at the moment.
