Chapter 146
Luca’s POV
We weren’t touching anything, and the only parts of our bodies that were touching at the moment were
our joined fingers and nothing more.
But that littl bit of contact was kind of enough for me, I didn’t want to start being greedy and start
wanting the whole thing when I just literally started doing it right with her.
And even though her fingers felt really nice in her grip, it felt like her fingers were warm, while mine was
cold, or it was the other way round. Either way, nevertheless, it made holding hand with her feel really
nice, and this was most definitely in a very non sexual way.
I climbed up the stairs and pulled her up along with me carefully. I had only looked back at her once,
ever since we had started to make our way out of the dining room, and our eyes had locked
immediately. Of course she had been the one to look away first, and I only breathed out a chuckle as I
got to the top or the stairs and paused until she got there as well, in the next moment.
We made our way towards our room and I pushed the door open as soon as we had made our way
towards the front of the door. I walked in first and pulled her in with me, and then I pushed the door
closer behind me.
I finally loosened my hold on je fingers reluctantly, not wanting to let go of her hand, not knowing that I
had to, because it would Just bepletely weird if I still kept on holding her hands.
“Do you want to shower first?” I asked after a few moments had passed and the both of us were still
standing in the same position we had been in, when I had pushed the door closed.
“Um, shower?” She faintly whispered and without my own consent, images I’d rather not dwell upon at
this very moment, started to dance around all over the insides of my head all at once. I shook my head
a little to clear the images out of my head, as I made to reply to her.
“Yeah, shower. You do want to shower, right?” I asked as I turned my head around to stare down at her.
The lights in here weren’t turned on except from the
Lowest light in the led lights and it was a bit hard for me to see the expressions that were most
definitely crossing her face at this very moment.
The light was low, but it felt intimate somehow, and I didn’t want to kill it off by turning on a brighter
light.
“Um, yeah, I do.” She finally replied in a voice which was still as low as the first one and I nodded my
head towards the bathroom door even though she couldn’t see my face at the moment, due to how dim
the lights was, as I murmured out a reply.
“Go on then.”
And go on she did. A few momentster she was making her way towards the bathroom. She got into
the bathroom and shut tne door firmly behind her, and I felt a breath whoosh out of my throat almost
immediately.
I made my way towards the bed and sank into it, luffing out a breath and carding my fingers through my
hair instantly.
Oh well, she has gone to shower for the night right now.
And, I sure as hell wasn’t going to think about how she showered, or what she looked like with water
pouring down her shoulders and down some other ces… which I’d rather not think about at this very

I shook my head a little as I tugged on the back of my hair for a few moments, before releasing my hold
on the hair and pushing myself into my feet immediately after that. I started to take off my jacket which I
was still surprisingly in, after stressing so much at the office.
I’d have taken it off immediately when I had gotten home on a normal day, but for some reasons which
were well known to me, it didn’t cross my mind one bit to take it off and even unbutton the top buttons
or my jackets like I’d have done on a normal day.
I shrugged out of the jacket and started to take off my inner shirt immediately as well. Once I was done,
I picked up the clothes and cradled them in my arms as I started to make my way towards the air
conditioner, and I increased the volume immediately, I was still fiddling with the switch when I heard the
bathroom door start to get pulled open, and I stiffened a little as I heard the door get pushed open
anymore, and was already done with taking a shower.
I refused to turn around until after a few more seconds had passed, and as I nced around after
turning, I noticed immediately that Sofia had made it towards her side of the bed and was already
sinking into a sitting position on it, when my eyes had locked on hers.
I made my way past the bed, refusing to give into that darl urge in my head that wanted me to stare
past her bare and still wet looking shoulders. I made my way into the walk-in closet and pushed the
door close behind me, and I dropped my suit on the spot beside the door instantly. I quickly picked out
a sweatpant and turned around instantly, making my way out of the walk-in closet and straight into the
bathroom instantly.
I didn’t want to waste any unnecessary time in her showering, to avoid her from falling asleep on me,
when I wanted her to still he asked when I’d slide into bed tonight. And then I started to take off my
pants and underwear, leaving them where they had fallen in, as I made my way straight into the shower
and turned the shower control on instantly.
I soaped my body up instantly and was done showering super fast, and then I made my way out of the
shower and toweled my body dry instantly. I cleaned my teeth thoroughly, and then I was shrugging
into my sweatpants after about a minute. I made my way out of the bathroom and pulled the door firmly
closed behind me, and my gazended on Sofia’s building almost immediately.
She was already lying on her side of the bed at the moment, as I made my way towards the bed and
sat on my side of the bed.
Now what?
I knew she was still awake because our eyes had met right before I had sunk into a sitting position on
the bed, a few moments ago. I refused the urge to start checking my phone at the moment, because I
know I was only going to turn on the data, and still wouldn’t reply to any of the messages that would
I pulled the nkets open and slipped beneath it, as I finallyid down on the bed, stretching my legs
out beneath the nket.
I turned my head around a little and my eyes locked with Sofia ones.
“Sleepy?” I asked and watched as she hesitated, before finally giving a couple of tiny nods of her head.
I opened my right hand wide a little right before I murmured. “Come here.”
I watched as her eyes widened immediately, and the dim lights were way too low for me to make out
the color of her cheeks at the moment, but I had a feeling that it was currently pinked up.
She hesitated and still didn''t do as I had said.
“You don’t have to um,” She started to speak in a really low voice but I ignored her and slipped my
hand beneath her waist and pulled her towards me, feeling her warm body pressed into mine in the
next second.
She remained stiff against me for a few seconds, before rxing in my hold after a few moments, and I
pulled her firmly into my arms even more, moving unto my back and pulling her in a way that would
make my body take up half of her body on mine, just like how it had beenst night.
My second hand came around to band across her waist and I felt her shiver against me a little, and I
puffed out a slow breath immediately after that.
My first hand was against the upper side of her back and I started to slowly curl my fingers in her hair,
which was surprisingly dry, even though she had taken a shower, some time ago.
I moved my hand against her waist a little, feeling the small curved shape or her waist beneath my
hand, a little bit lower and I was going to be sliding my hand over the curve or her ass, and I puffed out
a breath after a few seconds.
It was going to be a really long night.
