Chapter 139


    Luca’s POV


    Well, I had after all only brought up the topic about it to him in the first ce, because I couldn’t find it in


    me to touch her, immediately after I had gotten married to her and the whole thing had still kind of


    overwhelming, coupled with the fact that she had bursted into tears as soon as I had been about to


    touch her, like I was supposed to in the first ce.


    But then I had only brought it up, because I was still thinking of canceling the whole wedding thing back


    then.


    Assuming I had known that I was going to end up finding her adorable and cute and oh so freaking


    beautiful, I wouldn’t have brought the topic up with him in the first ce.


    “What do you mean it’s none of my business?” I heard James start to ask but I didn’t bother to turn


    around and nce at him before replying to him once again.


    “It meant whst it meant.” I replied in a low voice, my lips going into a thin line almost immediately.


    “You definitely finally had sex with you, you fucker, so that’s why you arrivedte today as well?” James


    continued to speak and I rolled my eyes a little as I started to unbotton the top two buttons or my shirt,


    still staring st myself in the ss window, and this time, I was standing in front of James’ car.

    groaned a little before turning around to stare at him.


    “Shut the fuck up, James.” I said to him with a scowl directed at him and he only scoffed before

    hold on his shirt and pushed him backwards so he staggered a little bit backwards.


    “Yes, you fucking do.” I replied to him and turned sideways, dragging my fingers through my curls and


    dragging in a deep breath into my lungs in order to kill the feeling of anger which I could already feel


    start to brew in the deepest part of my chest.


    “Well, I don’t.” James replied and I breathed out a lightugh which skunded very much sarcastic to my


    own ears even.


    “Oh, you fucking do, you bastard.” I replied to him, without still turning around to stare back at him. I


    dropped my hand away from my hair and breathed out slowly, feeling my chest expend with the


    breathing in and out motion over and over again in slow seconds.


    I finally turned back around until I was facing him, after a few minutes had passed.


    “You were literally the one who said it was alright for me to go ahead and take her, and that she was


    going to melt immediately. Not like I needed you to tell me that before I’d finally do it, but because I was


    still feeling really bad about the fact that she was really younger than I am, then you had proceeded to


    make me understand the fact that she was already legal and that it’s alright to do those kinds of things


    with her, and of course there’s going to be consent. So, I don’t understand your problem right now.


    What’s wrong with you?” I started to exin to him in a calm voice, my voice increasing in volume a


    little, at thest part of my sentence, which was meant toe out as a question.


    “Did I ever said it was a bad thing or wrong thing for you to have sex with her?” James demanded and I


    scowled at him immediately, feeling a really strong urge to punch him in the face right this instant.


    “The fuck? You literally implied it.” I reminded him and watched as he shrugged his shoulders which


    were in a dark colored suit, before starting to speak.


    “I did no such thing. You were the one who got the wrong meaning of what I was saying, all I was


    saying was that I was really surprised about the whole turn of event, that’s literally it.” James continued


    and the look on my face which I still had pointed at him, made it so obvious that I didn’t believe all what


    he had just said.


    “Well, honestly? You could have worded your words and sentences so much better.” I snapped at him,


    still scowling at him and I watched as he breathed out a deep sigh before closing the distance between


    us.


    “I’m sorry man, alright?” He apologized and I stared into his face for a few seconds, before letting out a


    small scoff and turning away from him. I dug out my phone from my pocket and started to send a text


    message to the guards as well as the driver, to signal to them that we were already done with the


    meeting and would like to be driven away from here this very instant.


    I pocketed my phone once I had sent the text and shoved my hands into my pocket and then I walked


    back towards my car and decided to lean against it, until whenever the guards and driver would finally


    get here.


    James stared at me for some time, before walking towards me anding to stand a few feet from


    where I was standing in, and then I leaned against my car as well, almost in the same position as


    myself.


    We remained quiet, with none of us breaking the silence for over five minutes, until I finally decided to


    break it.


    “You know…” I started to speak in a voice which wasn’t low, but then it wasn’t loud, so I’d say it was in


    between, and I watched from the side of my eyes as James slowly lifted his head from its bent position


    and turned his head around to stare at me, and then I continued after a few seconds.


    “You were kind of wrong though. Sofia and I didn’t have sex.” I said and I watched as a look of surprise


    crossed his face immediately after I had continent to speak, and I nodded my head in reply to his facial


    expression.


    “Oh.” He echoed in a voice which was almost matching mine perfectly, except for the fact that his voice


    came out a little bit louder than mine.


    “Yeah, we didn’t.” I confirmed, shifting my weight from foot to foot because I wasn’tpletely leaning


    my whole weight on the car, in order to scoot getting any kind of dust on my suit, be how little the dust


    is, because the car looked really sparkling clean, but then that doesn’t mean it didn’t have even those


    most little dusts particles on it.


    “I, I thought you did, and you didn’t try to deny it, so I just concluded–” He continued to speak and I let


    out a low chuckle before shrugging my shoulders a little.


    “I just didn’t bother agreeing with it or denying it, because well,” I paused and started to move my feet


    around the spot where I was standing for some minutes now.


    “Because of what?” James demanded after a minute of obviously waiting for me toplete my


    sentence which I had left hanging.
