With a finality in his tone, Trenton exited and returned to Shera.


    “Mr. Thomas declines. You’re free to leave.”


    “Understood.” As Shera retreated, Trenton re-entered the chamber, clutching a bag of revtions.


    “Have you unveiled the truth?” Marcus’ gaze locked onto Trenton’s offering.


    Trenton affirmed, “Indeed. It was Shera who orchestrated the incident involving Mrs. Thomas at the


    airport.”


    Upon these words, a vice-like grip seized the pen within Marcus’ hand, as if the weight of revtion


    threatened to shatter the fragile construct of his world.


    A week had passed and Shera had a firm foothold in the charity department. However, she hadn’t

    these pictures to Marcus, he would be disappointed in Millie and would push her away. That will be

    Shera smiled after hanging up. Now that Millie was alone in the remote countryside, she wouldn’t be
