Chapter 2879
Nathan chatted with Dip for a while and gave thetter a few words of encouragement before
getting ready to leave.
Noting that, Dip asked hurriedly, “Mr. Cross, aren''t you staying at my ce?”
Nathan shook his head. “It''s too packed here. We''ll just look for a random ce on Eurasian Street
to stay for the time being.”
Upon hearing that, Dip had no choice but to say, “All right.”
With that, Dip stood up to escort Nathan and his men out.
Right then, a knock suddenly sounded from the outside of the door. Frowning, Dip called out,
“Come in.”
Immediately after that, Dip''s subordinate entered and said anxiously, “Mr. Tucker, this is bad. The
Dishonorables havee looking for trouble again. They smashed up several shops and injured
many of our men.”
Dip was shocked and angry when he heard the news. His face even purpled with rage.
Despite that, he suppressed his anger and said, “What are you shouting for? Can''t you see I''ve got
guests to entertain? You may leave now. I''ll deal with The Dishonorables in a while.”
Hanging his head, his subordinate answered, “Okay.”
With that, he left the study.
Nathan nced at Dip and asked inly, “What''s wrong? Is there trouble?”
Dip smiled wryly before exining, “Recently, a new group has appeared on Eurasian Street, led by
Eamon Kane. All of them are Koandrians. Eamon then created a group called The Dishonorables
on Eurasian Street just to make things difficult for me. Basically, he wants to take my position as the
underground boss of Eurasian Street.”
Nathan frowned. “Can you handle it? Do you need my help?”
Dip said hurriedly, “Oh, it''s fine. It''s fine. Eamon and his subordinates might be quitepetent, but
I can still handle it. How could I possibly ask for your help to deal with such a trivial matter? That
would simply be overkill.”
Nathan said, “If you can handle this, then I shall not interfere. However, you need to remember this.
You must keep Eurasian Street within your control. After all, this is our base and the secret
amodation for our informants. There must not be any problems with this ce. If you really
can''t handle this Eamon person, just call for my help. I''ll send people over to eliminate them.”
Dip replied, “Got it. I''ll definitely ask the government and the organization for help if I really can''t
handle this.”
Nathan nodded and left with Colin and Kraven without saying anything else.
Soon, the trio found a hotel on Eurasian Street as their temporary amodation. After settling
down, they exited the hotel to get some supper.
It was already one o''clock in the morning.
Regardless, Eurasian Street was still bustling with people. The nightlife there was quite vibrant.
Nathan and the others soon came to a food street. After taking their seats at an open-air food court,
they ordered some side dishes and a few bottles of beer before digging in.
Due to their difference in status, Colin and Kraven dared not utter a single word since Nathan did
not speak. All three of them ate their food in silence.
On the contrary, the guests sitting at the table beside them were chatting happily. Their conversation
soon caught the trio''s attention.
Sitting at the table beside theirs were a few middle-aged men and a young Eurasian woman in her
twenties.
The Eurasian woman had short hair and a petite figure. Even though she was dressed in in
clothes, her eyes sparkled with mischief.
The middle-aged men at her table were dressed in tattered clothes. Clearly, they wereborers who
worked at Eurasian Street.
Suddenly, one of the tanned and honest-looking men asked the youngdy, “Kerry, you''re from
Eurasia and have the surname as the God of War, Nathan Cross. Are you two from the same
family?”

Pleased to hear that, Kerry Cross said smugly, “Hehe! You''re asking the right person, Mr. Leach. My
hometown is in the eastern city of Eurasia. Ie from the same vige as the God of War. In fact,
I share the same ancestor as him. Nathan Cross is actually my cousin.”
Cousin?
Colin and Kraven could not help but nce at Nathan when they heard the youngdy bragging at
the next table.
Nathan was puzzled as well. He did not recall having a cousin named Kerry.
On top of that, he had been gifted with photographic memory since young.
There was no way he would not recognize the youngdy if she was really his cousin.
With a smirk on his face, he stared intently at the bluffing youngdy.
Noticing Nathan staring at her, Kerry frowned and red at him, scolding, “What are you looking at,
young man? Haven''t you seen a prettydy before?”
Nathan raised a brow when he heard her words.
It was at that moment he was convinced Kerry was not his cousin. How could she not recognize me
if I were her cousin?
Thus, Nathan decided not to bother with Kerry and continued eating.
Kerry, too, merely shot him a re and ignored him. She continued bragging to her friends, “Truth
be told, Nathan and I are practically childhood sweethearts. Though we spent our childhoods in our
respective houses, you could say we grew up together, don''t you agree?”
Her friends exchanged confused nces, wondering whether she understood what being childhood
sweethearts truly meant.
