Chapter 2434

Nathan looked around the hall and realized it seemed like he was a criminal waiting to be prosecuted.
His lips curled into a smile. "Is this how the four Reclusive Families treat their guests?"
Cedric responded icily, "Nathan, do you seriously think we invited you here for dinner? We want to settle scores with you!"
Arching a brow, Nathan asked, "Oh? What scores?"
Cedric dered, "You bullied the members of the Reclusive Families. How should you make it up to us?"
Everyone present stared at Nathan coldly.Content ? provided by N?velDrama.Org.
Nathan chuckled. "If you want to punish me, go ahead. Let''s see if I can hold your attack."
With that, he nced at Cedric and the other three towering above him in their seats and snickered. "Also, I hate to see others seated when I''m talking."
He raised his leg and gave the ground a nonchnt stomp.
At once, four cracks emerged on the ground beneath their feet and headed for Cedric, Svend, f, and Ulric.
The four of them were stunned.
Without hesitation, they summoned their energy to protect themselves.
They managed to protect themselves from the incredible forceing from the ground, but their chairs promptly cracked into pieces from the force. The four chairs had been destroyed.
Cedric, Svend, f, and Ulric jumped to their feet furiously and red at Nathan.
They were fine, but their chairs had been crushed to pieces by Nathan. That was infuriating enough.
The fighters witnessed how Nathan destroyed their Patriarchs'' chairs and immediately burned in anger. If possible, they''d charge ahead to rip Nathan apart.
Nathan smiled. "Now that we''re all standing, this is so much more pleasing to my eyes."
Cedric''s expression was stony. "Nathan, how dare you act all arrogant? Do you think you''re invincible being the previous God of War?"
Nathan answered calmly, "You
imed to be Reclusive Families,
but look at you now. You look nothing like fighters living in seclusion! What did Layden offer you inreturn? Did he offer to allow your members to join the military as officials? Did he promise to give you power in the military? Is that why you remain loyal to him and resort to illicit means to achieve your goals?"
His words made Cedric and the rest halted in shock.
At once, Cedric refuted his words. "Nathan, I have no idea what you''re talking about! I came to you today to take revenge on behalf of our members. It has nothing to do with General Quillen."
Svend could no longer stay silent. He bellowed, "Nathan, you''re going to die today. Do you have anyst words?"
His hands behind his back, Nathan said, "Many people want me dead. You aren''t qualified to kill me yet. I shall stand right here and await your tricks. Bring it on."
Cedric huffed, "Arrogant prick!
Zartmans, is there anyone who wants to kill him?"
"Lord Cedric, let me do it!" the scarface eximed and stepped out. He turned to Nathan and introduced himself. "Nathan, I am Rainn Zartman. I am known for the scar on my face. Tonight, we shall fight."

Before Nathan could respond, Colin stepped out and retorted icily, "Who are you to fight with our general? I, Colin Dunne, shall fight with you!" Rainn''s gaze turned as cool as ice. "Then you will be the first to die!"
With that, he leaped off the ground and lunged at Colin with his fist, looking like a berserk tiger that had just been freed from its cage.
The fearless Colin took a confident step forward before charging toward him.
Both muscr men attacked each other swiftly and forcefully.
A bloody fightmenced.
As their blows were vicious, the battle was over as quickly as it began. Three movester, the winner was determined.
After exchanging two blows, Colin slipped and avoided Rainn''s attack.
He then charged into Rainn''s embrace and jammed his elbow into thetter''s chest.
At once, Rainn shuddered as though he had been electrocuted. He then stumbled backward and spat out a mouthful of blood with pieces of his shattered lungs. Never in his wildest dreams did he know Nathan''s subordinate could defeat him in just three moves.
The other members of the four Reclusive Families gaped in disbelief at the sight.
