Chapter 1732
In the departure hall of the Brimmopolis airport, Penny and Kylie stood from their seats and were
ready to board the ne. Instinctively, Penny turned and looked at her surroundings onest time. A
glimmer of hope lingered in her mind. Maybe... Just maybe... He wille?
Then, catching her inane self, she let out a wry chuckle.
I''m such a fool. Nathan is probably on the military ne heading towards the North. How could he
appear here?
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Stop dreaming about the impossible; he''s not here.
Kylie noticed her unusual behavior and her darting looks. “Penny, are you hoping for Nathan
to be here?”
A slight flush crept onto her face as if she was a child caught red-handed for stealing a cookie from
the jar. “W-What? Why would I be thinking about that? He''s probably flying to the North right now.”
Kylie sighed. “That''s true. But then again, Nathan should have made a trip to Channing before going
off...”
“That''s not rational at all. The situation in the
North is escting quickly. Nathan is the General of the North and there are three hundred
thousand troops awaiting his orders. He must be present to protect the border!”
Keeping her agitation in check, Penny softened her voice and continued, “Xyperia is bing
more powerful and can invade the North at any moment. It''s no surprise that Nathan has to rush
back to handle the situation. Therefore, it''spletely natural that he can''te today.”
Kylie grabbed the woman''s hand and smiled sheepishly. “Fine, I got it. Pretend I didn''t say anything!
I''m sorry.” She blinked her puppy eyes for added effect.
Her endearing apology made Penny chuckle. “Getting away with everything with your irresistible
charm, huh? You cute little girl...
Alright, let''s go join the lineup.”
The duo boarded the ne from its rear door. Once on the ne, they made their way to the first-
ss cabin.
While passing through the economy ss, Penny took notice of a group of rowdy passengers who
seemed to be traveling together. In particr, a man in a Hawaiian shirt grabbed her attention.
The said man was Willow Mitchell, also dubbed “The Undertaker”.
He took a nce at the passingdies and proceeded to order the cabin crew around like he was
the boss of the ce. “D*mn it. Someone grab me a drink. I''m so pissed right now!”
Penny and Kylie shared a look of disdain at the man before continuing on their way to the front of
the ne.

Internally, they heaved a sigh of relief, thanking themselves for having the foresight to book first-
ss seats.
When they finally reached the first-ss cabin, the ne was preparing itself for takeoff, so they
settled down quickly as the flight attendant conveyed the standard safety instructions over the
speakers.
Just before takeoff, two men fumbled their way into their seats in the economy ss. They were
Nathan and Colin.
They dashed to the boarding gate and made it at the eleventh hour. Panting heavily upon sinking
into their seats, they struggled to catch their breath while the ne ascended.
When the flight attendant announced that it was safe to remove the safety belts, Nathan stood up
and surveyed the economy ss cabin. To his dismay, Penny and Kylie were nowhere to be found.
“Mrs. Cross and Ms. Tonkins are likely in the first-ss cabin. I can go and look for them,” offered
Colin.
Nathan held him back. “We''ll wait for the cabin crew to start making their rounds and then take the
chance to blend in as a crew member. Let''s
give them a pleasant surprise.”
Colin chuckled at the idea. “Okay!”
A grin simrly appeared on Nathan''s face as he imagined the astonishment on Penny''s face. She''d
be so happy...
Once the ne stabilized, Nathan could hear the nking of tes and trolley wheels. It''s time.
He stood up, tidied up his attire, and turned towards the first ss cabin.
That was when he noticed the first sight of trouble. Like him, a group of men was also heading to
the front of the ne. Leading them was a man dressed in a flowery print shirt. None of them
looked friendly.
Nathan clenched his fists. He had an inkling that a full-fledged confrontation would soon follow.
